Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran band pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMA Negeri Jatilawang, serta untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat proses pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler band di SMA Negeri Jatilawang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler band di SMA N Jatilawang: (1) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan musikal dan juga mampu mengasah aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik siswa, (2) materi pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler band di SMA Negeri Jatilawang terbagi dalam tiap instrumen, seperti vokal, gitar elektrik, bass elektrik, drum dan keyboard (3) metode yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran band bervariasi seperti metode ceramah plus, metode demonstrasi, serta metode latihan (drill), dan (4) evaluasi pembelajaran musik di SMA Negeri Jatilawang bersifat terbuka dan mampu menyemangati siswa untuk lebih giat berlatih. Faktor pendukung pembelajaran band di SMA Negeri Jatilawang, yaitu minat dan bakat, motivasi, sarana dan fasilitas, warga sekolah dan orang tua, serta program. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah emosi, dan keterbatasan waktu. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The purpose of this research is to figure out and describe band learning on extracurricular activity in State Senior High School of Jatilawang and to know supporting factors and inhibiting factors of band extracurricular learning process in State Senior High School of Jatilawang. The result of this research showed that band extracurricular learning in State Senior High School of Jatilawang: (1) has the purpose to improve musical intelligence and sharpen the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of the students (2) the material of band extracurricular learning in State Senior High School of Jatilawang is divided in each instrument, such as vocal, electric guitar, electric bass, drum and keyboard (3) the used method in band learning is vary, such as plus lecture method, demonstration method, and drill method, and (4) music learning evaluation in State Senior High School of Jatilawang is open and able to motivate students to be more vigorous in exercise. The supporting factors of band learning in State Senior High School of Jatilawang are interest and talent, motivation, infrastructure, school community and parents and the program. While inhibiting factors are emotion and limited time.
