Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of providing solutions and the role of one the Islamic economic instruments, namely zakat, infaq, alms and waqf which can be applied in dealing with economic problems due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In conducting research, researchers used a library research approach and content analysis techniques. The results of the research that show that Ziswaf can be a solution and role to restore the economy due to the Covid-19 pandemic are as follows: (1) Make each village an UPZ to maximize zakat (2) maximize cash zakat and productive zakat (3) maximize zakat and infaq management (4) providing educational assistance for students affected by Covid-19, which is prioritized for students majoring in sharia economics so that in the future they can educate the public about Islamic economics.

Abstract

Di Indonesia penyakit yang disebabkan oleh gizi pada balita masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan yang utama, baik gizi buruk maupun stunting. Faktor yang mempengaruhinya adalah pendidikan, pola asuh, nutrisi yaitu termasuk dalam mengelola makanan pendamping ASI (MPASI). Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan kegiatan intervensi stunting dengan menggunakan pendekatan PAR atau Participatory Action Research. Penyuluhan dan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu kader serta ibu balita dalam mengelola MPASI yang sesuai dengan standar gizi dan halal untuk balita. Dalam Islam tugas dan kewajiban orang tua selain memberikan makanan berupa ASI dan MPASI adalah memberikan makanan yang halal serta thayyib pada anak-anaknya. Bahan makanan lokal yang banyak ditemui di sekitar wilayah Kelurahan Sidoharjo dan belum banyak dimanfaatkan untuk pembuatan MPASI adalah waluh dan lele, kandungan gizi dalam waluh dan lele sangat tinggi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 Agustus 2023 di Balai Kelurahan Sidoharjo dengan peserta adalah pengurus TP PKK Kelurahan Sidoharjo, kader posyandu, serta ibu balita stunting. Penyuluhan dan pelatihan ini berjalan dengan lancar serta semua peserta aktif dalam kegiatan diskusi maupun praktik. Hasil menyatakan bahwa pelatihan yang dilaksanakan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan peserta.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of halal certification on the development of business and consumer protection efforts in Indonesia, which is predominantly Muslim. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results of this study show that halal certification is an important part in improving and developing business products because it increases public interest and trust. This Inagiri Gaplek Bread product is a food product that comes from halal food ingredients. Therefore, this product can get a halal certificate as a guarantee of product halalness. The management of this halal certification is easy. Business owners can submit an application to BPJPH which will eventually issue a halal certificate if the product submitted meets the requirements. Halal certification itself is also part of consumer protection efforts considering that the majority of the population in Indonesia is Muslim.

Abstract

Introduction: Indonesians contribute to the national Gross Domestic Product, contributing 60.5%. The number of Muslim populations in Indonesia is the most important compared to other countries, thus creating a large market for halal products. Objective: The research can provide an in-depth understanding of the market potential for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises focusing on halal products. This research also aims to understand how these halal products are related to the halal lifestyle, which is a lifestyle that complies with the principles of Islamic sharia in various aspects of life. Method: This research is considered most appropriate using a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review. Data sources use secondary data. Furthermore, descriptive analysis techniques are used to analyze the collected data. Result: The results of the study show that to increase Indonesia's role in the global halal industry, steps are needed, such as halal certification, training and mentoring for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, financial service facilities, and socialization regarding the importance of halal products. Implication: In general, the expected impact of this research is the creation of a more robust and more competitive ecosystem for halal Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Indonesia, which will strengthen the national economy and improve Indonesia's position in the global halal industry.
