Abstract

Basic understanding in using computers has become a necessity that must be understood by most people. Various aspects of human life in modern times require the help of computers to make it easier, more effective and efficient. So many human activities that can be done with the help of computers, for example: word processing, table processing, browsing on the internet, sending and receiving emails,etc. Because of the many needs in using computers, many programs and applications are made for various purposes. Engineering software or engineering program is a program created to help humans complete various kinds of calculations in the field of engineering. On this occasion, we carried out community service to SMKN2 students in Banjarmasin to provide understanding and skills about making applications or programs related to engineering, especially in the field of mechanical engineering. This service is carried out by providing training in making interactive applications in the field of mechanical engineering. The training method used is a combination of theory and practice, starting with a basic understanding of programming, introduction of identifiers, introduction of variables and introduction of IDE (Integrated Development Environment) so that it is expected to provide students with an understanding of the material presented. Students will also be given various kinds of calculation cases in the engineering field that the program application will be made to be able to complete these calculations easily and quickly. The target of community service is technical programming training services and publications in national service journals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengujian di laboratorium pengujian bahan, yaitu labroatorium uji bahan menggunakan mesin uji tarik. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini dilaksanakan adalah untuk menguji bahan hasil coran dari bahan aluminium rongsokan yang pada proses peleburannya dicampurkan serbuk baterai bekas dapat meningkatkan kualitas kekuatan tarik baling-baling kapal. Pada penelitian ini terdapat variable terikat yaitu kekuatan tarik dan ariabel bebas, yaitu kadar serbuk baterai 20 gr, 30 gr, 40 gr, dan 50 gr. Pengujian dilakukan dengan tahapan melakukan pengecoran alumunium bekas yang ditambahkan dengan serbuk baterai sesuai dengan variable yang telah ditentukan untuk dijadikan spesimen dan selanjutnya melakukan uji tarik pada setiap spesimen. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlakuan dengan empat tahap penambahan serbuk baterai bekas yang dikenakan pada paduan aluminium rongsokan memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap nilai kekuatan tariknya yaitu nilai kekuatan tarik lebih tinggi daripada nilai kekuatan tarik control yang hanya diberi perlakuan natural serbuk baterai bekas. This study used data obtained from the results of testing in a materials testing laboratory, namely a materials testing laboratory using a tensile testing machine. The purpose of this research was to test the casting material made from scrap aluminum, which, in the smelting process, when mixed with used battery powder, can improve the quality of the tensile strength of ship propellers. In this study, there were dependent variables, namely tensile strength, and independent variables, namely battery powder content of 20 gr, 30 gr, 40 gr, and 50 gr. The test is carried out by casting aluminum, which is then added to battery powder according to the variables that have been determined to be used as specimens, and then carrying out a tensile test on each specimen. It can be concluded that the treatment with four stages of adding used battery powder applied to scrap aluminum alloy had a significant effect on the tensile strength value, namely that the tensile strength value was higher than the control tensile strength value, which was only given by the natural treatment of used battery powder.

Abstract

Salah satu pemanfaatan umum sumber daya laut oleh masyarakat adalah melalui penangkapan ikan, yang menjadi sumber mata pencaharian utama bagi nelayan dan pedagang ikan. Setelah penangkapan, ikan perlu diolah dengan membersihkan sisik dan membuangisiperutnya.Prosesinibiasanyamemakanwaktusekitar2-3menitperikan, sehinggatidakefisien dankurang optimalbagipedagangikan,terutamaketikajumlah ikan yang harus diproses cukup besar, yang dapat menyebabkan pembeli harus menunggu cukup lama. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, penulis akan melakukan penelitiandenganmerekayasasebuahmesinsebagaisaranapenerapanteknologibagi masyarakat dan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di bidang pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sebuah mesin yang dirancang khusus untuk membersihkan sisik ikan secara otomatis, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan kebersihan dalam proses pengolahan hasil perikanan,sertamemberikankemudahanbagiUMKMdalammengolahhasilperikanan melalui mekanisasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi pada akhir kegiatan. Alat ini mampu membantupekerjaanyangsebelumnyamembutuhkanwaktuyanglamamenjadilebih singkat, sehingga tentu saja menjadikan pekerjaan membersihkan menjadi lebih efektif, efisien dan higienis dalam proses pengelolaan hasil perikanan.
