Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the impact of perceived value of Jamu towards the millennial purchase decision in the case study of generation Z. The indicators use for perceived value are awareness, perception, and family environment. As for purchase decision, the indicator used are consumer behavior and purchase motivation. The data were collected from 125 who have previously consumed Jamu. Simple linear regressions and descriptive data analysis were used to examine the data collected. The findings indicate that perceived value of Jamu significantly impacts the millennial generation and with descriptive data analysis each indicator were examined. Among all indictors of perceived value, perceptions have the highest impact towards the millennial purchase decision.

Abstract

Orientation, the inter-individual differences of employees might affect their engagement. However, job engagement might also be influenced by job insecurity. Research purposes: The objective of this study was to examine the relationship between job insecurity and job engagement. Motivation for the study: Job engagement leads to positive individual and organizational outcomes, and study on the determinants will give useful information for diagnosis and intervention. Research design, approach and method: A correlational design was used. Survey design was conducted among 110 employees in several departments in the hotel. The measuring instruments included the Psychological Empowerment Questionnaire which includes job description, job commitment, emotional exhaustion, job performance, strategic alignment and job satisfaction. Statistically significant relationships were found between job insecurity and Job engagement have an impact of 5.8%. Thus, also presenting effective information, which of all the indicators has the most effect. Therefore, the result of the research will directly present further information towards the employees’ perception during the Covid-19 Pandemic by which relates to the future improvement by the organization. The findings imply that initiatives focusing on the job engagement of workers during the pandemic (i.e., meaningfulness, competence, self-determination, and impact) will contribute to employee job engagement (vigor, devotion, and assimilation). When job instability is high, it is critical to focus on employee psychological empowerment.

Abstract

Kabupaten Karawang saat ini menghadapi masalah pengangguran yang pelik yang berdampak juga pada tingginya angka kriminalitas dan angka perselisihan kelompok masyarakat. Pemerintah Kabupaten Karawang dan Kodim 0604/Karawang berupaya menjalin kerjasama dengan Universitas Swiss German dan Bengkel Kreatif Helo Indonesia untuk mengembangkan sebuah pusat industri kreatif yang diharapkan dapat menjawab permasalahan pengangguran ini. Sebagai langkah awal untuk mempersiapkan sumber daya manusia atau insan kreatif yang akan berperan dalam industri kreatif ini, maka perlu dilakukan upaya-upaya peningkatan kapasitas dan kapabilitas serta penciptaan young creativepreneur melalui sebuah program inkubasi. Program Inkubasi Young Creativepreneur ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan, keterampilan, kesempatan produksi, pemasaran, serta penjualan kepada para peserta program sehingga diharapkan terciptanya wirausaha-wirausaha baru di industri kreatif. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengimplementasikan program Inkubasi Young Creativepreneur ini adalah metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Metode ini terdiri dari serangkaian pelatihan, workshop, dan pendampingan bisnis (business coaching) yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta program, serta pada akhir program diselenggarakan sebuah expo produk kreatif hasil karya usaha peserta. Program ini telah mengikutsertakan peserta sebanyak 75 (tujuhpuluh lima) orang dengan latar belakang sosial yang berbeda-beda namun memiliki kesamaan status belum atau tidak memiliki pekerjaan tetap saat perekrutan dan berlangsungnya program. Dan outcome program ini adalah terciptanya 12 (duabelas) usaha peserta atau wirausaha baru di industri kreatif di Kabupaten Karawang.

Abstract

Jamu is a traditional Indonesian drink inherited from our ancestors. The existence of herbal medicine, which has been a culture passed down from generation to generation for a long time, is not only used as a means of treatment but can be used for other benefits such as body care or related to matters of a metaphysical nature. Little cultural information about herbal medicine has been found or conveyed. Herbal medicine is holistic, safe to consume, and has many benefits for those who regularly consume it. Two hundred respondents were involved in this research's data collection process. The family's most important role is the main factor in preserving herbal medicine. Introducing herbal medicine early will foster a concern for cultural heritage later. Apart from family, the social environment is also essential in its implementation. This research aims to determine the existence of herbal medicine among Generation Z regarding elements related to ensuring that herbal medicine remains sustainable and maintained. This research uses qualitative methods using data sources, journals, and reference documents. The data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and question and answer. The results of the research show that (1) family social culture and social environment are still relatively low, (2) sensory factors are still a feature of herbal medicine, and (3) lack of information and basic knowledge about the history of herbal medicine. jamu. (4) There are no additional subjects about herbal medicine in schools, (5) Lack of introduction of herbal medicine at the upper-class level as a treat in star hotels. (6) The current Café Jamu business model lacks a clean, hygienic, modern presentation.
