Abstract

In the face of the times and the era of technology that is rapidly developing at any time, the development of human resources is a top priority in the national development of the state, the position and position of students, has a very important role in teaching and learning activities for students to improve. Student achievement in academics and non-academic fields, one of the things that motivates students to always develop themselves is to give an award as an outstanding student with the criteria determined by the school. Temporary observations at Mustafa Private Vocational High School in determining outstanding students were done manually. This method is still considered ineffective and inefficient. Based on this, a model for determining outstanding students at Mustafa Private Vocational School is needed with a more efficient and effective system. This system is designed using a decision support system through the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This system can display the results of the ranking of outstanding students based on the calculation results of the SAW method

Abstract

Economic and social development in urban areas is highly dependent on an effective transportation system to support population mobility and economic growth. One form of transportation that is characteristic of Pematangsiantar City is the BSA (Birmingham Small Arms) motorbike cart, which has a rich history and has become a tourist icon that attracts the interest of many people. However, the decline in the number of BSA motorbike carts in Pematangsiantar City is a concern, due to factors such as increasing prices, competition from other types of transportation, and lack of support from the local government. To maintain the sustainability of BSA motor carts as part of the city's identity and cultural heritage, as well as utilizing tourism potential to drive the local economy, collaborative efforts are needed between motor cart owners and drivers, the government and the community. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a case study method, to explore understanding and experiences regarding BSA motorbike carts in Pematangsiantar City, with the hope of contributing to the understanding of the use, challenges and potential of BSA motorbikes in the context of intra-city transportation in Pematangsiantar City.

Abstract

Purpose: This study utilizes existing research on knowledge capabilities and firms’ Natural Resource-Based View (NRBV) to explore how absorptive capacity and green entrepreneurship orientation influence green innovation. Additionally, it examines the mediating influence of sustainable human capital within this context. Methods: This study was conducted using an associative design and a quantitative approach. The number of samples gathered was 100 valid respondents, and the questionnaire was spread online. The data collected will then be processed and analyzed with the PLS-SEM analysis using SmartPLS software. Results: The results revealed that green entrepreneurship orientation significantly predicted both sustainable capability and the adoption of green innovation. Additionally, sustainable human capital is a critical determinant of green innovation adoption. Surprisingly, absorptive capacity did not significantly influence green innovation. Hence, several hypotheses were proven to be correct. Conclusion: The results indicate that increasing R&D investment, e-commerce employment, and transaction volume can significantly boost Indonesia's economic growth, demonstrating the importance of these factors in driving the digital economy’s growth. Limitations: This study was limited to SMEs in Greater Jakarta with small samples. Contribution: These results have several implications for SMEs to further enrich the understanding of how the Natural Resource-Based View (NRBV) and relational theory facilitate adaptation to green innovation.
