Abstract

Lately, reading literacy activities have become less popular among the younger generation. Children began to switch to playing cell phones or gadgets rather than reading books. By reading a lot, children will actually increase their knowledge. This knowledge will help them overcome various things. The more we read, the more knowledge we gain. The book exhibition activity with Komunitas Satu Pena is a means to improve students' reading literacy. There are several stages in the implementation of this book exhibition. The preparation stage was carried out around March-April. The preparation stage was carried out in the form of a meeting which determined the Book Exhibition event which was held in May. The exhibition implementation stage will be carried out in May, but the date has not yet been agreed upon. The exhibition will be held at Taman Siswa Batu City. At the implementation stage, the committee is from the author, the East Java One Pen Community and several Unisba students. In its implementation, Unisaba students in the 4th semester of the Literature Appreciation course made an anthology of poems published in one pen. Then the anthology was read together at a book exhibition and literacy workshop.

Abstract

Linguistics also examines the relationship between language and the wider social context, including how language shapes and is influenced by structures of power, social status and culture. From the perspective of phonology, it explores the patterns of sounds in language and how they shape meaning and influence understanding and communication. Meanwhile, in morphology, attention is focused on the internal structure of words and the process of word formation in language. Syntax addresses the rules that govern how words are combined to form meaningful sentences. Semantics, on the other hand, focuses on the study of meaning and how meaning is derived in communication. Pragmatics examines language use in social and interactional contexts, revealing how individuals interpret meaning based on the situation and the speaker's intentions. Sociolinguistics extends this scope by analyzing the relationship between language and social factors, while psycholinguistics looks at the mental processes involved in language production and comprehension. Knowledge of linguistics provides greater insight into the dynamics of human communication and the ways in which language plays a role in shaping understanding of the world.

Abstract

Down syndrome merupakan kelainan genetik yang biasanya menyebabkan disabilitas intelektual dan ciri fisik tertentu. Salah satu aspek yang menjadi fokus pemahaman anak down syndrome adalah bagaimana mereka memahami dan menggunakan bahasa. Studi psikolinguistik terhadap anak-anak dengan down Syndrome mengkaji bagaimana mereka memproses, memahami dan menggunakan bahasa dalam komunikasi sehari-hari. Penelitian ini memainkan peran penting dalam membantu para profesional dan orang tua memahami kebutuhan komunikasi anak-anak dengan down Syndrome dan mengembangkan strategi intervensi yang tepat. Penelitian ini mengambil data 10 penderita down syndrom di SLB Tunas Bangsa Kabupaten Blitar. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut maka ditemukan adanya gangguan berbahasa atau gangguan berkomunikasi penderita down syndrom.Pada artikel ini dipaparkan pembahasan tentang gangguan berbahasa tersebut.
