This paper describes a covid-19 pandemic that has put the entire world's population in a very worrying situation almost all countries in the world feel the impact. All countries in the world have implemented several policies to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic, including by enforcingLockdown, Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) and recently the government implemented PPKM to suppress the spread of Covid-19. However, it seems that it has not been successful enough, this can be seen from the number of positive cases of Covid-19 every day is still high. Seeing this problem, it is necessary to do a more effective and efficient way to deal with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. (WHO, 2021). Various methods have been taken by the government or the health Team to reduce the number of cases of Covid-19, but in reality, the number is still increasing. Seeing this problem, it is necessary to do a method or container that is more attractive and easier for the community to use to carry out the initial treatment if signs and symptoms of being infected with Covid-19 are found. One of the most effective ways is the provision of vaccines for every Indonesian citizen. (Covid & Team, 2020).

Abstract

The hospital is one of the health care facilities by empowering various units of trained and educated personnel in dealing with and dealing with medical problems for the recovery and maintenance of good health (Setyawan D, 2016). From the explanation above about the definition of a hospital, it can be concluded that the hospital performs several types of services including medical services, medical support services, nursing services, rehabilitation services, prevention and health improvement, as a place for education and/or medical and medical training, as a place of research and the development of science and technology in the health sector as well as to avoid health risks and disturbances as intended, so it is necessary to carry out hospital environmental health in accordance with health requirements. This paper described a hospitals, which are part of the facilities that provide health services, are currently facing increasingly fierce competition, so hospitals must continue to strive to improve the quality of services offered to the community. Hospital competition conditions have a positive impact, namely providing more choices for the community. Efforts to improve service quality are efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational management as well as efforts to satisfy community needs. These efforts were carried out in all fields including the procurement of Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS).(Putra & Vadriasmi, 2020).

Abstract

Problems that often occur in organizations are the lack of the number and types of personnel needed, lack of competence (knowledge, skills, attitudes and values) of nursing staff and limited funds from hospitals so that they cannot add and maintain the human resources (HR) they need. . This study aims to determine the need for health workers by calculating the ideal number of health workers (nurses and pharmacists) based on the workload at the Melati Perbaungan General Hospital. This research is a qualitative research using observation techniques, interview guidelines and document review. This study uses research informants where the informants used are the head of the nursing room and the nurse in the inpatient room. Data analysis is the process of systematically searching and compiling data obtained from the results of field observations (work sampling), in-depth interviews and document review. The results obtained: 1) The total use of time for nurses during observations is known that the use of time for direct nursing activities of implementing nurses in the inpatient room is 36.3%, indirect nursing activities is 40.6% and personal activities is 23.1 %. This shows that the activities that are mostly carried out by nurses are indirect nursing activities. This is because nursing activities do not directly have to be carried out and completed in accordance with nursing procedures.

Abstract

Patient safety incidents are still a significant problem at Royal Prima Medan Hospital, where various types of services have risks that threaten patient safety. This study aims to analyze the determinants of nurses' role in implementing patient safety in the Royal Prima Marelan Hospital Inpatient in 2023. This cross-sectional study examines the relationship between independent variables (risk factors) and dependent variables (effects) concerning nurses' roles in patient safety in home inpatient settings. This study included 51 Royal Prima Marelan Inpatient Hospital nurses who were Saturated Sampling. Research variables include the nurse's function, knowledge, attitudes, facilities, and work experience. Univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses are used in this research as statistics in determining the frequency distribution or proportion of independent and dependent variables. In implementing patient safety, nurses' roles are primarily good (64.7%), their knowledge is high (60.8%), their attitudes are positive (51.0%), their facilities are reasonable (60, 8%), and their work experience is mostly > three years (64.7%). Based on the analysis of patient safety implementation, knowledge, attitudes, facilities, and work experience all significantly impacted nurses' roles (p=0.008, 0.000, and 0.002, respectively). Hospital nurses have a good attitude toward implementing patient safety, especially if they get good training. Nurse length of service affects patient safety training frequency. More frequent training and better patient safety implementation are associated with longer nursing careers.

The research subjects came from inpatient room respondents from grades 1, 2, and 3. Based on the results of the study, the attitude of medical personnel was significant (P=0.04) towards services. Medical and medical services were not significant (P=0.13) on health services. Public facilities and infrastructure are significant (P=0.03) on health services.
