<![CDATA[Abstraksi: Warisan budaya yang ditinggalkan oleh bangsa Kolonial Belanda yang masih dapat terlihat hingga saat ini salah satunya berupa bangunan dengan berbagai macam tipologi dan tmenggunakan gaya arsitektur Kolonial Belanda. Tentunya, dalam pengaplikasian gaya arsitektur tersebut mempertimbangkan ketersediaan material dan keadaan lingkungan sekitar sehingga menghasilkan suatu karya akulturasi budaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui karakteristik gaya arsitektur Indische Empire Roemah Martha Tilaar dan keoptimalan fungsi bangunan di masa sekarang dengan kondisi iklim yang kemungkinan sudah mengalami sedikit perbedaan dari dulu. Pemilihan objek penelitian berupa bangunan cagar budaya dengan tipologi Roemah Martha Tilaar Gombong dengan gaya arsitektur Indische Empire yang berlokasi di Jalan Sempor Lama Nomor 28 Gombong, Kebumen, Jawa Tengah. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan deksriptif kualitatif dengan cara observasi dan survey. Penggunaan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggambarkan keadaan riil di lapangan untuk menganalisis keoptimalan fungsi bangunan Roemah Martha Tilaar.Kata kunci: Arsitektur Indische Empire, Roemah Martha Tilaar, langgam arsitekturTitle: Indische Empire Architecture Roemah Martha Tilaar: Gombong Kebumen Regency, Central JavaAbstract: One of the cultural heritage left by the Dutch colonial people that can still be seen today is a building with various typologies and using the Dutch Colonial architectural style. Of course, in applying this architectural style, consider the availability of materials and the surrounding environment's conditions to produce a work of cultural acculturation. This research was conducted to determine the characteristics of the Indische Empire Roemah Martha Tilaar architectural style and the optimal function of the building in the present with climatic conditions that may have experienced a slight difference from the past. The research object was selected in a cultural heritage building with the Roemah Martha Tilaar Gombong typology with the Indische Empire architectural style located on Jalan Sempor Lama Number 28 Gombong, Kebumen, Central Java. The data collection method used is descriptive qualitative utilizing observation and survey.
