Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 19 (Covid-19) sudah lebih dari dua tahun berjalan dan masih menjadi pandemi di beberapa negara, tidak terkecuali di negara Indonesia. Berbagai upaya dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Penerapan protokol kesehatan yang ketat dan pemberian vaksinasi dirasakan cukup efektif dalam menurunkan angka Covid-19. Vaksinasi Covid-19 diberikan kepada lanjut usia, dewasa, anak dan tidak terkecuali remaja yang juga rentan mengalami infeksi Covid-19. Tingkat pengetahuan dan tingginya keikutsertaan remaja diharapkan mampu memutus rantai penularan dan menurunkan angka kejadian Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan tentang vaksinasi Covid-19 dengan perilaku remaja dalam keikutsertaan vaksinasi Covid-19. Jenis penelitian adalah non-eksperimen dengan rancangan korelasional dan desain cross sectional. Responden penelitian ini dengan jumlah sampel 47 orang dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan dan perilaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan umur terbanyak adalah remaja dengan kategori remaja lanjut (57,4%), jenis kelamin terbanyak yaitu laki-laki (53,2%), tingkat pengetahuan vaksinasi Covid-19 berkategori baik (55,3%), perilaku dengan kategori ikut vaksinasi (89,4%). Nilai korelasi Chi Square hubungan pengetahuan dengan perilaku menunjukkan nilai p value = 0,045 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan perilaku remaja dalam keikutsertaan vaksinasi Covid-19. Pemberian informasi yang baik dan benar akan mendorong keikutsertaan remaja dalam vaksinasi Covid-19

Abstract

Corona virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease that’s caused by a new type of coronavirus. The disease began with the emergence of a known case of penumonia in Wuhan, China at the end of December 2019 (Li et al, 2020). The disease eventually became a  pandemic problem around the word, including Indonesia. The purpose of this community service activities are to increase the knowledge of kindergarten students about covid-19 disease and it’s prevention, so that it can prevent transmission and increased cased of covid-19. Method of implementation of activities are carried out several stages, namely location obeservation and socialization of health education activities about corona virus. This is health education about its prevention and motivation of students and demonstration of washing hands properly. The result of community service activities are  health education about covid-19, disease prevention of covid-19 and demonstration of correct hand washing steps attended by 31,57% of kindergarten students of Nurul Izzah school with 24 students devided into several small groups. Students can explain about coronavirus disease, this is and its prevention and demonstrate how to wash hands properly step as much as 100%. Based on the result of community service activities need to be followed up is the provision of education canbe given to all students in order to suppress the decreased inthe number of incidents confirmed positively cover cases of covid-19 ang Semarang district area especially green zona.AbstrakCoronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh Coronavirus jenis baru. Penyakit ini diawali dengan munculnya kasus pneumonia yang tidak diketahui etiologinya di Wuhan, China pada akhir Desember 2019 (Li et al, 2020). Penyakit ini pada akhirnya menjadi masalah pandemi di seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa TK terkait penyakit covid-19 dan pencegahannya, sehingga harapannnya dapat mencegah penularan dan peningkatan kasus covid-19. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan beberapa tahap, yaitu observasi lokasi dan sosialisasi kegiatan, penyuluhan kesehatan tentang corona virus disease, penyuluhan kesehatan tentang pencegahannya dan motivasi siswa serta mendemonstrasikan mencuci tangan dengan benar. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan tentang penyakit covid-19 atau corona virus disease, pencegahan dan demonstrasi mencuci tangan yang benar langkah dihadiri oleh 31,57% siswa TK Nurul Izzah dengan sebanyak 24 siswa yang terbagi dalam beberapa kelompok kecil dan siswa dapat menjelaskan tentang corona virus disease, pencegahannya serta mendemonstrasikan cara mencuci tangan dengan benar langkah sebanyak 100%. Abstract

Typhoid fever presents with hyperthermia, a condition that can affect preschool children. Preschool children have an underdeveloped immune system and poor personal hygiene habits, it makes susceptible to infections such as typhoid fever, which is characterized with hyperthermia. The goal of this study is describing the application of water tepid sponges (WTS) in reducing the body temperature of preschool children with typhoid fever. This study uses a descriptive method with a case study approach of nursing process, on one preschool child with typhoid fever and hyperthermia. The intervention provided was hyperthermia management through water tepid sponge compresses for 3 days management, monitoring of changes in body temperature before and after the intervention. Data collection techniques included assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation. The results of the management are that hyperthermia can be resolved, with a decrease in body temperature on the first day, the patient's body temperature before being given a water tepid sponge was recorded at 38.9°C, then decreased to 37.5°C after the procedure within 15 minutes. On the second day, the initial temperature of 38.5°C decreased to 36.9°C after being given WTS. On the third day, the patient's body temperature was 36.5°C, indicating that the body temperature had returned to normal. Suggestions for families are expected to implement the health education that has been provided by nurses, especially in carrying out water tepid sponge (WTS) compress actions at home as an independent effort in treating children when they have a fever.
