Abstract

Tingkat infertilitas laki-laki diseluruh dunia berkisar 2,5 sampai 12% dan lebih dari 30 juta pria dunia tidak subur.WHO menyatakan lebih dari 50% penyebab infertlitas pihak pria yang terbesar disebabkan faktor semen. Buahkurma ajwa (Phoenix dactylifera) mampu mengobati infertilitas karena memiliki aktivitas sebagai antioksidan dangonadotropik. Tujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak dan fraksi metanol air kurma ajwa terhadap beratepididimis, tebal epitel epididimis dan morfologi spermatozoa pada tikus putih jantan (Rattusnorvegicus).Penelitian ini eksperimental menggunakan rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 25 sampel tikusputih jantan dengan diberi perlakuan ekstak, fraksi metanol air kurma ajwa dan CMC 1% (kontrol) selama 35 hari,selanjutnya di ambil organ epididimisnya untuk dilakukan penimbangan organ, histologi dan penambilan semen.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan berat epididimis, tebal epitel epididimis dan morfologispermatozoa dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Fraksi metanol air dengan dosis 300mg/kgBB mempunyai pengaruhpaling kuat. Disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak dan fraksi metanol air kurma ajwa (Phoenix dactylifera) dapatmeningkatkan berat, histologi epididimis dan morfologi spermatozoa.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of political connection and effectiveness of audit committee on audit fee. This study uses the sample of non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015-2017. They were take using a purposive sampling method. The total number of companies is 444 companies. The data were analyzed using SPSS 20 and the hypothesis testing was done using linear regression with a significance level of 5%. The F test indicates that the research model is stable and significant. The value of R square is 38.4%, indicating that there are other variables that can affect the model by 61.6%. The results of this study show that political connection has a significant positive effect on audit fee and the effectiveness of audit committee also has a significant positive effect on audit fee because audit committee wants a higher audit quality from the auditor.

Abstract

The company's financial performance is a measure that can show the extent to which a company has achieved success. Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) is one of the factors that determine financial performance. Management ownership as one of the factors in good corporate governance that can strengthen or weaken the relationship between IOS and the company's financial performance. So the purpose of the proposed research is to prove whether the Investment Opportunity Set has an effect on financial performance with a moderating effect of management ownership. Food and beverage sector companies are used as case studies in this study. The food and beverage sector is one sector that is considered to still be able to survive in the midst of the economic crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The data used is the annual report of the food and beverage sector companies from 2015 to 2020. The method in analyzing the data in this study uses the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) method. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that IOS partially has a significant effect on improving the financial performance of manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the food and beverage sector. While the very small percentage of Management ownership causes this variable to have no significant effect either partially or as a moderating variable.

Abstract

Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a collection of metabolic diseases with hyperglycemia which can be caused by insulin deficiency, decreased insulin action, or both. Research Methods: The type of research used in this study is quasi-experimental using a one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were 60 people with diabetes millitus. The sample in this study was 15 respondents who were selected with inclusion criteria. Primary and secondary data collection techniques. Research Results: The results of the analysis using the paired t test there is a significant effect between low impact exercise on reducing blood sugar levels in the elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the Work Area of ​​the Inpatient Health Center Mariat District Sorong Regency with p value < (0.000 < 0.05) . Conclusion: There is a significant effect between low impact exercise on reducing blood sugar levels in the elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the Work Area of ​​the Inpatient Health Center Mariat District Sorong Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of intellectual capital, namely human capital, structural capital and relational capital on banking stability with the moderating role of top management education characteristics. A total of 166 observation data were sampled in this study. Data analysis used moderate regression analysis. The results showed that all three components of intellectual capital had an influence on banking stability. Meanwhile, if the moderating effect of top management education characteristics was added, only human capital had no effect. While structural capital and relational capital remained consistent in having a positive effect on banking stability.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of independent board of commissioners and audit committee effectiveness on real earnings management. The population of this study is manufacturing companies that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2015-2022. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling, namely a sampling technique with certain considerations or criteria. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical testing and multiple regression using data processing software. The findings reveal that both the independence of the board of commissioners and the effectiveness of the audit committee play a significant role in mitigating real earnings management. Specifically, these governance mechanisms are shown to have a negative and statistically significant influence on the extent to which firms engage in real earnings management.
