Abstract

This research is motivated by the weak character of students who do not know the local wisdom of their own region. The purpose of this study is to make students of good character, maintain the values of local wisdom and can have a variety of life skills needed to survive in their lives through learning based on local wisdom Sunda Cageur, Bageur, Bener, Pinter,  tur Singer of History Learning. The results of this study that learning history by using the approach of local wisdom can foster historical locality of the younger generation which is a form of identity or identity of one's life and the main can strengthen the character of students who can be implemented in everyday life. So that learning history is not limited to memorizing about facts but can be meaningful.
