Abstract

The People’s consultative Assembly is the highest state institution that has undergone a change in the constitutional structure after the amandements to the 1945 Constitution, changes to the MPR are very clearly seen in the first to the fourth amandements to the 1945 Constitution. Before the amandement to the 1945 Constitusion , The MPR  as the highest state institusion was given unlimited powers,and MPR is the one that has the authority to enact the 1945 Constitution,GBHN,Appoint the president and vice president in a accordance with the provisions of article 3 paragraph 1 of the 1945 Constitution before the amandement the MPR stipulates the constitution and the GBHN. The existence of the MPR at this time is indeed a high state institution The MPR stikk existence has no position as no longer as the highest state institution and the big question is whether its existence is the absolute holder of the people’s sovereignty

Abstract

In the history of the implementation of elections in Indonesia, the term election supervision actually only emerged in the 1980. In the implementation of the elections which were first held in Indonesia in 1955, the term election supervision was not yet known. In that era,trust was built among all participants and citizens regarding the implementation of elections which were intended to form a parliamentary institution which is currently it is called as constituent.Although the ideological conflict at that time was quite strong, it can be said that thre was very minimal fraud in the implementation of the stages,even if there was friction outside the area of the election,the friction that emerged was a the logical consequence of the ideological struggle at that time until now the belief that Bawaslu must be able to work synergistically with all elements of the nation Kata kunci: Election supervisory body and democratic system

Abstract

The general election in 2009 is one that is highlighted in this article regarding the role of women in political contestation. Positive policy with a quota of 30 percent for women in the establishment and formation of political parties and political party leadership based on several articles in Law Number 2 of 2008 concerning Political Parties. The representation of women is a hope in changing the political scene in this country. This law opens many opportunities for women to fight in politics. The approach method used in this research is the juridical-normative method. This method is carried out through literature studies on various literature related to legal theories and principles. The answers came from women in participating in the political space. Starting from those who work as vegetable sellers to housewives who are not affiliated with any organization.
