Abstract

Swamp area is usually seen at the debouchment that is close to the sea. Swamp area can be used for farming area if it has a proper water management system. However, water management at the swamp area is hard to do and can be potentially become over drained in some areas. The aim of this study is to locate the potential areas that are able to occur over drained at Petung Swamp Irrigation System and able to find solutions of the problems. The first step to do is doing survey to know the condition of the channel, finding hydrological data, and tidal data. The hydrological data are intended to get modulus drain discharge. The next step is running data with HecRAS application to get the result of water channel profile of all channels. After that, analyzing the groundwater level could be done and meet the conclusion whether the channel is having over drained or not. The result of this study is the areas of Petung Swamp Irrigation that mostly having over drained condition are at the headwaters because the tide cannot reach the upper areas. The areas also have no floodgates, so the water journey couldn’t be occurred and not evenly distributed.

Abstract

Garum District, especially in Slorok Village, is a densely populated residential area that has under gone many land use changes. The condition of the land as a green open space has changed its function into a residential and office area. One of the impacts is disasters on direct surface runoff and a decrease in the quantity of water that infiltrates the ground, resulting in flooding during the rainy season, so the need for handling, among others, is rehabilitation of drainage channels and planning of infiltration wells. The calculation results show that there are 37 drainage channels, but there are 7 channels that cannot reduce runoff due to land use changes and the existing drainage cannot be filled. The calculation of the rehabilitation of the dimensions of the canal and the dimensions of the infiltration well is invincible with the existing land, then the dimensions of the infiltration well will be divided by the runoff discharge to see how many wells to be built. The calculation of infiltration wells uses the Sunjoto formula. With the results of the calculation of the dimensions of the infiltration well for a diameter of 1.2 m and a well depth of 2.4 m.

Abstract

Dusun Ngindeng merupakan dusun yang terletak di Kecamatan Sawoo Kabupaten Ponorogo, masyarakat di Dusun Ngindeng sebagian besar mengandalkan sumber air tanah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air baku, harapan dibangunya Waduk Bendo di Dusun Ngindeng sebagai sumber air baku bisa dipakai dalam mencukupi kebutuhan air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat recana pada sistem jaringan air baku di Dusun Ngindeng, yang termasuk kualitas air, hidraulika,  dan ekonomi. Dalam perencanaan jaringan air bersih, dilakukan dengan aplikasi WaterCAD V8i untuk simulasi dan pemodelan kondisi hidraulik jaringan air bersih. Akan tetapi dalam perhitungan ekonomi dilaksanakan secara manual, proses Analisa memiliki hasil yang menunjukkan kondisi hidrolis jaringan pipa masih terdapat di kategori ketentuan yang ditetapkan, yaitu memiliki kecepatan 0,100 m/dt – 1,902 m/dt, Headloss Gradient 0,065 m/km – 14,428 m/km dan tekanan 3,520 atm – 8,895 atm, kemudian klorin yang tersisa 0,300 mg/l – 0,400 mg/l. Analisa pada ekonomi, bahwa tarif air terendah sebanyak 1.746,95/m3  dengan harga proyek sebanyak Rp. 521.700.000,00
