Abstract

This research proposes a design thinking style in design that can be applied gradually and is easy to understand, so that visual works can be accurately implemented in any medium. By understanding the design thinking method, designers will have a better understanding of the characteristics and process of creation, so that the creation of works has higher quality, innovation, and objectivity and can be accepted by a large audience. The result of this research is a reading application display on Android-based smartphones that presents in the form of text, images, and sound elements. In this application, there are also novels, poems, and the latest news that are updated every day. This research discusses problem analysis, system requirements analysis, manual data analysis, and decision support system design using design thinking method for UI/UX design on KuyBaca application. After the design process and testing of respondents, it was found that the application design made it easier for users to carry out activities in the application. The effectiveness of UI/UX in the KuyBaca application can be proven from the results of testing the design. Users can understand the flow of the application and can carry out their duties.

Abstract

As the times progress, technology advances so that a media or hardware device is created to communicate and search for news information such as computers, mobile phones or smartphones, and others. Then he also made a software to make it easier for us to find information and communicate. One form of software is an application. There are several kinds of applications that provide various services and features, such as game applications (games), social media applications, and other application services. But in addition to the many applications there are still many that are lacking in terms of interface, so many users find it difficult to use the application. One of them is the Sukun application. This application is used by hundreds of congregations at the Indonesian Bible Mission Fellowship Church (GPMII). But because this application is still in the development stage so there are still many shortcomings in displaying the user interface, therefore in this study the authors apply the User Centered Design (UCD) method to this application to display an increasingly better interface.

Abstract

Training on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Design Activities for the Naelul Khair Foundation, Bekasi City for Foster Child Participants is an important initiative considering the strategic role of technology in today's social and educational transformation. This foundation, which is committed to providing education and development to its foster children, faces challenges in providing equitable access to technological knowledge and skills, especially AI, to its participants who may have limited resources and knowledge. Thus, this training is a progressive step in empowering foster children to face changing times which are increasingly driven by technological developments. By strengthening AI knowledge and skills, foster children are expected to increase their creativity and ability in designing and managing activities both within the foundation and in the wider community. More than just providing knowledge, this training also creates space for foster children to collaborate and share ideas in using technology as a tool to solve problems and improve the quality of their own lives and the environment around them. Thus, the collaboration between the education and technology sectors in this training is not only a means of imparting knowledge, but also a manifestation of a shared commitment to creating a better and more inclusive future for foster children, where technology becomes a tool that empowers them. to reach their best potential and contribute to sustainable social development. Pelatihan Pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk Desain Kegiatan Yayasan Naelul Khair Kota Bekasi bagi Peserta Anak Asuh menjadi sebuah inisiatif yang penting mengingat peran strategis teknologi dalam transformasi sosial dan pendidikan masa kini. Yayasan ini, yang berkomitmen untuk memberikan pendidikan dan pengembangan kepada anak-anak asuhnya, menghadapi tantangan dalam memberikan akses yang merata terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknologi, khususnya AI, kepada pesertanya yang mungkin memiliki keterbatasan sumber daya dan pengetahuan. Dengan demikian, Pelatihan ini menjadi sebuah langkah progresif dalam memberdayakan anak-anak asuh untuk menghadapi perubahan zaman yang semakin didorong oleh perkembangan teknologi. Melalui penguatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan AI, anak-anak asuh diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan kemampuan mereka dalam merancang serta mengelola kegiatan baik di lingkungan yayasan maupun di masyarakat luas. Lebih dari sekadar memberikan pengetahuan, Pelatihan ini juga menciptakan ruang bagi anak-anak asuh untuk berkolaborasi dan berbagi ide dalam menggunakan teknologi sebagai alat untuk memecahkan masalah dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka sendiri serta lingkungan sekitar. Dengan demikian, kolaborasi antara sektor pendidikan dan teknologi dalam Pelatihan ini tidak hanya menjadi sarana untuk memberikan pengetahuan, tetapi juga menjadi perwujudan dari komitmen bersama untuk menciptakan masa depan yang lebih baik dan inklusif bagi anak-anak asuh, di mana teknologi menjadi alat yang memberdayakan mereka untuk meraih potensi terbaik mereka dan berkontribusi pada pembangunan sosial yang berkelanjutan.
