<![CDATA[Abstract : Social support is one of the aspects affecting the world of work. Social support can reduce work stress that exists in the environment of work. The researcher conducted a study to identify the effect of social support on work stress for the employees at technical unit management of Solo river water resources, Bojonegoro. The samples that were examined in this study were 30 employees who were obtained using populations’ research techniques. The data collection technique of this study was questionnaires in order to divulge the social support and work stress. The data analysis technique used in this study was the chi-square technique. The analysis showed that social support significantly affected the employees’ stress by the significant value of Pearson Chi-square (x2) of 0.000 (p <0,05). It establishes that social support significantly influence the work stress on the employees of technical unit management of Solo river water resources, Bojonegoro. Key words: social support, work stress, employee. Abstrak : Dukungan sosial merupakan salah satu aspek yang berpengaruh dalam dunia kerja. Adanya dukungan sosial dapat meredam bentuk-bentuk stres kerja yang ada pada lingkungan kerja. Penulis melakukan penelitian untuk menjawab serta memahami pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap stres kerja yang terjadi pada karyawan upt penegelolalaan sumber daya air bengawan solo bojonegoro. Sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 30 karyawan yang diambil menggunakan teknik penelitian populasi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket untuk mengungkap dukungan sosial dan stres kerja. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik chi-squre. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap stres kerja karyawan yang ditunjukkan dari nilai signifikan pearson Chi-square (x2) sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05). Hal ini membuktikan bahwa dukungan sosial berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap stres kerja pada karyawan upt pengelolaan sumber daya air bengawan solo bojonegoro. kata kunci: dukungan sosial, stres kerja, karyawan.]]>
