Abstract

 Indonesia is one of the place for very good investment, beside to a very good economic growth compared to other ASEAN countries, Indonesia also has much population. And with the number of unhealthy lifestyle at the present will also increase the prevalence of degenerative diseases, especially heart disease and hypertension. Therefore should needs special attention in dealing with this disease. The author here wants to know how good the public acceptance is toward the new concept of  specialty pharmacy for heart and hypertension diseases, to identify the factors that influence the public acceptance, and to identify the strategies to be adapted tothe public acceptance for this kind of speciality pharmacy. In this research used a questionnaire as a tool for taking data and conducted a descriptive study in October – December 2012 in PondokAren, South Tangerang. During the period of October–December 2012 the author interviewed 101 respondents and got that the respondents accepted and agree the concept of speciality pharmacy and believed it would also have better quality product in terms of completeness and availability of drugs. There are also some factors that significantly influence the peopleof PondokAreninthe acceptance of this specialty pharmacy such as products, services, prices, promotions, people and physical evidence with 61.334 F count> F table 2.17, t count 7.080; 9.242; -0,084; 3,230; 4.094; 7.425 (products; services; price; promotion; people; place)> t table 1,960 and determination coefficient is: 0.893,Indonesia merupakan salah satu tempat investasi yang sangat baik, disamping pertumbuhan ekonomi yang sangat baik dibandingkan negara-negara ASEAN lainnya, indonesia juga mempunyai jumlah penduduk yang banyak. Dan dengan banyaknya pola hidup tidak sehat pada saat ini juga akan meningkatkan prevalensi penyakit degeneratif khususnya penyakit jantung dan hipertensi. Sehingga perlu dilakukan perhatian khusus dalam menangani penyakit ini. Peneliti disini ingin mengetahui penerimaan masyarakat terhadap konsep baru apotek spesialis yang mengkhususkan pelayanannya pada penyakit jantung dan hipertensi, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi penerimaan masyarakat tersebut dan mengidentifikasi strategi yang mengadaptasi penerimaan masyarakat terhadap apotek spesialis tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengambil data dan dilakukan studi deskriptif yang dilakukan pada bulan oktober – Desember 2012 di daerah Pondok Aren, Tangerang selatan. Selama periode Oktober-Desember 2012 didapatkan sebanyak 101 responden dan terlihatbahwarespondenmenerimadanmenyetujuiadanyaapotekspesialis yang dipercaya juga akanmempunyaikualitasobat yang lebihbaikdarisisikelengkapanobatdanketersediaanobat. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari faktor-faktor produk, pelayanan, harga, promosi, people dan physical evidence terhadap penerimaan masyarakat Pondok Aren pada penerimaan apotek spesialis obat-obat jantung dan antihipertensi dengan nilai F hitung61,334> f tabel 2,17, t hitung 7,080; 9,242; -0,084; 3,230; 4,094; 7,425 (produk; pelayanan; harga; promosi; people; tempat) > t tabel 1,960 dan koefisiendeterminasiadalah : 0,893.

Abstract

Diarrhea remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality among children, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. The high incidence rate of diarrhea and the lack of public knowledge became the background for this community service activity. The purpose was to increase public understanding of diarrheal disease as well as the proper use and storage of medications. The method used was a direct educational counseling session held on May 15, 2025, for residents of RT 04 RW 04, Penggilingan Subdistrict, East Jakarta, at MD “Smarts” Primary Clinic. This activity involved 20 participants and included a pre-test, educational material delivery by lecturers and students, an interactive discussion session, and a post-test. Evaluation showed an increase in understanding, particularly on the points that diarrhea can cause death (13% increase) and dehydration (7% increase). These results indicate that the counseling was effective in improving community knowledge regarding diarrhea prevention and treatment. It is expected that similar programs can be carried out continuously to reduce the incidence of diarrhea in the community.

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a condition of kidney damage that occurs for 3 months or more in the form of structural or functional abnormalities of the kidneys with or without a decrease in the Glomerular Filtration Rate. So far, treatment for CKD can be done by hemodialysis, Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) and kidney transplantation. This study aims to determine the description of the use of drugs in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Hospital X Bekasi from January to March 2020. This study was conducted using a descriptive method. Sampling in January - March 2020 was carried out with the total sampling method, namely all electronic prescription sheets of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Hospital X Bekasi. Data were collected by calculating the amount and percentage based on the active substance and class of drugs used by CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. Based on the results of observations of electronic prescriptions of drugs used by CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis at Hospital X Bekasi during January - March 2020, it can be concluded that the use of drugs based on the active substance is Calcium carbonate 500 mg capsules as many as 10580 capsules (59.07%), Sodium bicarbonate 500 mg tablets 1725 tablets (9.63%), Gentamicin sulfate 80 mg/2 ml inj 868 ampoules (4.85%), Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 200 mg/2 ml inj 753 ampoules (4.21% ), Recombinant human erythropoietin 3000 IU 678 injection (3.78%).

Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is the condition when blood pressure is at the value of 130/80 mmHg or more. This condition can be dangerous, if the patient's treatment is constrained by the quality management of a poor pharmaceutical installation (pharmacy). Efficient drug management is one of the most important factors in the success of overall management so that patients can obtain maximum treatment, and aim to avoid excess (stagnant) and deficiency (stockout) drug availability in pharmacies. The study aims to determine the degree of antihypertensive drug supply at Imphi Pharmacy from January to March 2020. This type of research uses non-experimental methods, which are types of research using quantitative descriptive methods. The sampling method uses a total sampling. The result is that all groups of antihypertensive drugs meet the average supply level of three months with a supply rate of ≥ 1.00 months, and there are two categories of drug stocks are ideal stock (supply levels ≥ 1.00 to ≤ 3.00) and stock is not ideal (inventory levels ≥ 3.00) and the most widely used antihypertensive drugs amlodipine 5 mg with an average use of 3 months as many as 1880 tablets with a stock rate of 1.22 months. All classes of antihypertensive drugs at Imphi Pharmacy each have a slowmoving drug resulting in a high level of drug supply. High levels of drug supply are influenced by several factors such as the number of declining drug requests, excess stock in the warehouse, and the transfer of the drug from generic to patent or otherwise by a physician.

Abstract

Background: Pharmaceutical services have undergone changes, that was initially focused on drug management (drug-oriented) to comprehensive services that include medication management and clinical pharmacy services aimed at improving patients' quality of life. As one of the flagship programs to improve the quality of services for BPJS Health participants and facilitate access to healthcare for patients with stable chronic conditions who still require long-term medication or nursing care, the implementation of the Back Referral Program (PRB) has been optimized. This study aims to determine the satisfaction level of BPJS participants with the BPJS back referral service at Kimia Farma Pharmacy 591 Zamrud, as assessed through five dimensions: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. Method: This study employed a non-experimental method with a quantitative descriptive design. The sample consisted of 143 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire that had been validated and tested for reliability. Results: The results of the study indicate that the dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, empathy, and tangibles obtained fairly good average scores, ranging from 3.97 to 3.98, while the assurance dimension showed the lowest score, at 3.20. The assessment of the five dimensions of respondent satisfaction was mostly at the satisfied level, with 117 respondents (81.82%), followed by very satisfied with 15 respondents (10.49%), fairly satisfied with 11 respondents (7.69%), and none who stated they were dissatisfied or very dissatisfied. Conclusion: Based on the research results, it can be concluded that BPJS back referred patients are satisfied with the services at Kimia Farma Pharmacy 591 Zamrud Bekasi Timur.
