Abstract

Abstrak Anak usia sekolah pada masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya sering mengalami masalah gizi. Masalah gizi terutama gizi kurang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak usia sekolah. Gizi  yang optimal sangat diperlukan pada anak usia sekolah, karena dampaknya secara langsung berkaitan dengan pencapaian sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan makanan anak dan status ekonomi keluarga dengan status gizi anak usia sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif korelasional, pendekatan cross sectional dengan 109 sampel yang diambil secara proportional cluster sampling. Uji Chi Square  ditemukan adanya hubungan yang bermakna pada asupan makanan anak (p  0,000) dengan status gizi anak usia sekolah. Upaya penanganan masalah gizi anak usia sekolah perlu menekankan pada asupan makanan anak usia sekolah. Peran Dinas Kesehatan sangat diperlukan dalam meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui KADARZI melalui optimalisasi peran perawat dalam pembinaan keluarga. dan advokat dengan .Dinas Pendidikan  dalam pengeloaan UKS khususnya dalam pencegahan gizi kurang pada anak usia sekolah.   Kata Kunci: asupan makanan, status ekonomi, status gizi, anak usia sekolah    Abstract  School-age children during growth and development often experience nutritional problems. Nutritional problems, especially malnutrition can inhibit the growth and development of school-age children. Optimal nutrition is necessary in school age children, because the impact is directly related to the achievement of qualified human resources. This study aimed to determine the relationship of food intake of children and the economic status of families with the nutritional status of school-age children. This study used a descriptive correlational, cross-sectional approach with 109 samples taken are proportional cluster sampling. Chi Square test found a significant correlation child food intake             (p 0.000) with the nutritional status of school-age children. Efforts to address nutrition problems school age children need on food intake of school-age children. The role of the Department of Health is indispensable in improving community empowerment through KADARZI through the optimization of the role of nurses in family coaching and advocates with. Department of Education in the management of UKS particularly in prevention to malnutrition in school age children.  Keywords: food intake, economic status, nutritional status, school-age children

Abstract

Natural disasters that have both physical and psychological impacts are floods caused by human behavior. Disaster events caused by humans are things that need to be considered for immediate attention because it will cause some infectious diseases. Infectious diseases resulting from floods can be avoided by prevention activities that involve health cadres to take an active role in dealing with the problem of infectious diseases when floods occur. The study aimed to explore cadres’ ability in communicable disease preparedness when flood disasters through support groups. A quasi-experimental study, one group pre-test, and post-test without a control group was applied in this study. Forty-three samples were involved in this study from Gebangmalang Village, Mojoanyar District, Mojokerto Regency. Inclusion criteria; 1) cadres who are willing to become respondents; 2) cadres living in the study area; 3) cadres present at the intervention. 1-month research time. The results of the research show that the mean of knowledge, attitudes, and skills before and after the intervention increased from 34.9% to 100% good, 46.5% to 100% positive, and 55.8% to 100% good. Cadres increased the infectious diseases controlling when the flood disaster occurred with a p-value of 0.001. Increasing the ability of cadres was due to the interrelatedness between the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of a cadre. Based on the findings, community of nurses should provide to be able to prepare activities before a disaster occurs to be able to minimize the impact that occurs as a result of a disaster

Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals emphasizing an intervention to prioritize solutions to the global challenge of poor child development in low and middle income countries (LMICs). Abstract

Hypertension in the elderly can actually be prevented, but the lack of adequate knowledge about the elderly hypertension and prevention efforts are likely to increase the number of occurrence of hypertension and hypertension occurred so often repeated (relapse). With empowerment Support Group is expected to be an increase in prevention of recurrence behavior of hypertension in the elderly. The purpose of the study is to know the influence of the support group against the behavior of the elderly in the prevention of recurrence of hypertension at the village and subdistrict Bicak Trowulan Mojokerto. The design used was pre experiments with one group pre test and post testdesign. This research sample 24 elderly by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection through the pre test and post test using a questionnaire about the behavior of the elderly in the prevention of recurrence of hypertension. Intervention support group provided for 8 weeks. Data processing is started from the editing, coding, scoring and tabulating. then conducted a test of a different mode. The results showed there was a positive change in behavior in the prevention of recurrence of hypertensive elderly in the village of Trowulan subdistrict of Mojokerto Bicak. Empowerment Support group is effective in improving the behavior of the elderly in the prevention of recurrence of hypertensive diDesa Bicak subdistrict of Mojokerto Trowulan as much as 83.4%, because of the support group is a group that teaches the assistance and guiding the elderly behave healthy life which will result in reducing or eliminating personal and social problems.

Abstract

One of the health indicators that is assessed for the success of its achievement of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) is the nutritional status of children under five. The family has an important role in improving and monitoring the nutritional status of children under five. The purpose of this community service is to increase the ability of families to deal with malnutrition in children under five through the PELITA Movement "Care for Children Under-Nutrition". The community service of the PELITA Movement in Lengkong Village, Mojoanyar District, UPT Working Area, Gayaman Health Center, Mojokerto Regency will be held in June-December 2024. The target of the PELITA Movement is 22 families with under-nutrition children under five. The implementation method of this activity includes the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The preparation stage is carried out through permits to the village and socialization to families with under-nutrition of children under five. The implementation stage is fulfilled, to pre-test the family's ability to handle under-nutrition in children under five. The PELITA movement is given through nutrition education and coaching to families through home visits. The final stage is an evaluation (post-test) to determine the family's ability to handle under-nutrition children under five. Family ability increased by 63.6% to good. There was an influence of the PELITA Movement in improving the ability of families to overcome under-nutrition in children under five (P-value 0.001<0.05). Public health nurses can use the PELITA movement approach to accelerate the handling and decrease of nutritional problems for children under five.
