<![CDATA[Psikologi Forensik adalah ilmu bantu yang digunakan untuk memudahkan proses penegakan hukum, salah satunya penyidikan. Penelitian ini lebih fokus pada pemanfaatan Psikologi Forensik di tingkat penyidikan terhadap anak sebagai pelaku tindak pidana di Polresta Pontianak, dimana pemanfaatan ahli oleh Penyidik Anak diatur dalam Pasal 27 ayat 2 Undang-undang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak, dalam hal dianggap perlu. Walaupun Psikologi Forensik berfungsi untuk memudahkan jalannya penyidikan namun tidak setiap pelaku anak dimanfaatkan Psikologi Forensik terhadapnya oleh Penyidik Anak. Maka dari itu permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui urgensi pemanfaatan Psikologi Forensik di tingkat penyidikan terhadap anak sebagai pelaku tindak pidana di Polresta Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah metode penelitian empiris dengan menggunakan pendekatan yuridis sosiologis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Psikologi Forensik Urgensi untuk dimanfaatkan oleh penyidik Polresta Pontianak dalam kasus yang pelakunya anak karena dapat membantu penyidik yang kesulitan mengahadapi anak yang tidak dapat dimintai keterangan karena kondisi tertentu seperti, anak yang menangis, ketakutan, gugup, serta adanya indikasi trauma. Kata Kunci:         Psikologi Forensik, Penyidik Anak, Anak Sebagai Pelaku Tindak Pidana                  Forensic Psychology is an auxiliary science used to facilitate the process of law enforcement, one of which is the investigation process. This research is more specific on the use of Forensic Psychology at the level of investigation of children as perpetrators of criminal act in Pontianak Police, where the use of experts by child investigators is regulated in article 27 paragraph 2 of the law of the child justice system, when deemed necessary. Although Forensic Psychology serves to facilitate the course of the investigation, but not every child offender is utilized Forensic Psychology against him by child investigators. Therefore, the problem raised in this study to find out the urgency of Forensic Psychology at the level of investigation of children as perpetrators of criminal acts in Pontianak Police. The research method that the authors use is an empirical research method using a sociological juridical approach. The result of this study show that Forensic Psychology urgency to be utilized by Pontianak Police investigators who have difficulty facing children who cannot be asked for information because of certain conditions such as, children who cry, fear, nervous and there are indications of trauma.  Keywords: Forensic Psychology, Child investigators, Children as Perpetrators of criminal acts]]>
