Abstract

This study is centered on calculating the productivity of the SKM (rolled kretek cigarette) production floor work station of PT. Nikorama Citra Tobacco from 22 January 2024 to 29 February 2024 which aims to measure the level of productivity in the cigarette production process on the SKM production floor, identify key elements that have the greatest impact on the level of productivity achieved, and propose or recommend improvement steps to increase productivity in the production process on the SKM production floor. This research utilizes the objective matrix method (OMAX) by measuring two elements of productivity, namely the element of efficiency and the element of effectiveness. From these two elements of productivity, six measurement ratios are obtained, labor ratio, production output ratio, working hours ratio, defective product ratio, production time ratio. , engine ratio. The results of this research show that the productivity results of the SKM production floor fluctuate up and down due to the instability of the productivity ratio performance value where the highest productivity occurs on February 22 2024 and the worst productivity on January 22 2024, while the best ratio value occurs in the yield ratio. production and worst ratio values ??on machine ratios. The worst ratio value occurs in the machine ratio so improvements need to be made so that the productivity value can be more optimal.

Abstract

National Waste Management Information System shows that the amount of waste handled in Semarang City over the last three years has decreased with an average decline index of 1.06% per year. This is reinforced by the results of interviews with the Semarang City Environmental Service, that the handling of organic waste is still very limited because so far the handling has been more focused on an-organic waste. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate supply chain performance to determine the constraints in organic waste management from upstream to downstream. Based on the research results using the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method through a focus group discussion process involving eight experts in the field of waste management, it is known that the supply chain performance for handling organic waste in Semarang City has 11 elements of constraints, which are divided into seven priority levels. The element with the highest priority is related to the availability of organic waste supplies, while the element with the lowest priority is technological innovation and the application of appropriate technology. Improving the performance of organic waste management supply chains should focus on elements according to priority.

Abstract

UMKM REPRO merupakan salah satu UMKM di Kota Semarang, yang bergerak di bidang olahan limbah organik dan budidaya maggot. Saat ini produk yang dihasilkan oleh UMKM REPRO hanya berupa maggot fresh dan maggot kering yang biasa diperjualbelikan dengan para peternak untuk pakan ikan maupun unggas. Maggot fresh memiliki kandungan nutrisi yang cukup baik bagi ternak, namun memiliki keterbatasan yaitu life cycle product yang sangat pendek yaitu hanya berkisar 3 – 5 hari sebelum akhirnya berkembang biak menjadi pupa. Hal ini berdampak pada keterbatasan jangkauan area pemasaran UMKM REPRO, yaitu hanya di area Semarang Raya. Melalui Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini, tim telah berhasil melakukan Pendampingan pada UMKM REPRO dan menghasilkan diversifikasi produk turunan maggot berupa pelet magot. Produk pelet magot tersebut memiliki siklus hidup produk lebih panjang dibanding magot fresh serta memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik. Hal ini akan berdampak pada meningkatnya daya saing UMKM REPRO dikarenakan produk tersebut berpotensi mendukung tercapainya jangkauan area pemasaran yang lebih luas dan peningkatan omset penjualan UMKM REPRO kedepannya.

Abstract

Current developments in infrastructure development have led to tight competition in the precast concrete industry. The use of precast concrete materials supports the need for infrastructure development, especially roads and city parks, especially kanstin products. The ability of precast concrete molds depends on several factors such as design, material and manufacturing process. The aim of this research is to find out the most optimal kanstin mold design in terms of structure and service life. The Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method is used to model and analyze the performance of kanstin mold designs. Based on 3D simulations of eight geometries with WF and UNP steel frames with ASTM A36 and AISI 1081 material types, it is still within safe limits for yield strength values. The largest von mises value is for WF AISI B and the smallest for UNP AISI A. It can be concluded that the highest life cycle is for the ASTM A36 material type UNP frame thickness A with a value of 7.91 years, while the von misess stress value is 113.4 Mpa which is still below the yield strength of ASTM A36 .
