Abstract

In today's digital era, security systems integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology offer modern solutions to protect assets and property. This research aims to design and implement an IoT-based security system using the ESP32 DevKit V1 microcontroller, ESP32 Cam, AM312 sensor, and a buzzer. The system detects motion using the AM312 sensor, which triggers the ESP32 Cam to capture images and send them to the Telegram application, while also enabling the activation of the buzzer via Telegram commands to enhance security. After testing, the AM312 sensor was able to detect motion at distances of 2 to 4 meters, but was ineffective at 6 meters. The system successfully sent real-time images through the ESP32 Cam when motion was detected and responded to buzzer activation commands via the Telegram bot. This system allows shop owners to monitor their store remotely using mobile devices and receive real-time notifications.

Abstract

Pemikiran ini mengusulkan rancangan aplikasi berbasis web untuk mengelola data inventaris kantor dengan pendekatan metode waterfall, fokus pada CV Adi Family Group. Aplikasi ini bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen inventaris dengan fitur pencatatan barang, manajemen data, dan laporan inventaris yang terstruktur. Metode waterfall dipilih untuk memastikan proses pengembangan yang sistematis, dimulai dari analisis kebutuhan hingga fase implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan sistem informasi yang dapat diandalkan untuk mendukung operasional sehari-hari CV Adi Family Group dalam mengelola inventaris kantor

Abstract

Metaverse merupakan evolusi teknologi yang menggabungkan elemen realitas virtual (VR), augmented reality (AR), dan lingkungan digital untuk menciptakan ruang virtual yang imersif dan interaktif. Artikel ini membahas potensi metaverse dalam mengubah cara manusia berinteraksi, belajar, dan bekerja, sekaligus menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pengembangannya. Dari segi transformasi digital, metaverse menawarkan peluang besar di berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan, bisnis, dan hiburan, dengan memungkinkan kolaborasi dan komunikasi tanpa batas geografis. Namun, penerapan teknologi ini tidak terlepas dari tantangan signifikan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi, masalah privasi dan keamanan data, serta regulasi yang belum jelas. Artikel ini juga mengeksplorasi peran teknologi blockchain, cloud computing, dan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam mengatasi tantangan tersebut, serta pentingnya kolaborasi lintas sektor untuk menciptakan metaverse yang aman, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan. Dengan memadukan analisis teoretis dan studi kasus, artikel ini menawarkan pandangan komprehensif tentang masa depan metaverse dan dampaknya terhadap transformasi dunia digital.

Abstract

This research discusses the application of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) Model in thedevelopment of web-based promotion and sales applications, with a case study at the Chicken Noodle Shop“Neng Kene Kiyeh”. The purpose of this research is to design and implement applications that can increasethe efficiency of promotion and sales of chicken noodle products through digital platforms. The RUPmethod was chosen because of its iterative approach and focus on user needs, allowing for more structuredand controlled software development. The RUP model consists of four main phases: inception, elaboration,construction, and transition. In the inception phase, a needs identification and feasibility study are conductedto ensure that the application to be developed matches the business needs of the store. The elaboration phaseinvolves more in-depth analysis and system design, including use case modeling, risk analysis, andapplication architecture design. In the construction phase, application development is carried out with aniterative approach, allowing for improvements and adjustments based on user feedback. The transitionphase involves application testing and end-user training, as well as full system implementation. The result ofthis research is a web application that has main features such as product catalog, online ordering system, inventory management, and integrated digital promotion. The implementation of this application is expectedto increase the visibility of Chicken Noodle Shop “Neng Kene Kiyeh” in the digital market, simplify theordering process for customers, and increase sales. The trial shows that this application can function asexpected, and provides significant benefits in the store's operational processes. The conclusion of thisresearch is that the application of the RUP model can be an effective approach in building web-basedpromotional and sales applications, with a focus on meeting user needs and improving businessperformance.

Abstract

Maritime transportation is vital for global trade but faces risks from gas leaks and fires, which can endanger ships and crews. Many small and medium-sized vessels lack effective systems to detect hazardous gases early, raising the chance of accidents. This study focuses on developing a prototype early warning system to detect gas leaks and fires on ships using an MQ-6 sensor and an Arduino Uno microcontroller. The goal is to provide a low-cost, real-time monitoring solution to improve maritime safety. The research follows a hardware prototyping and software development process using a waterfall approach, including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The MQ-6 sensor identifies flammable gases like LPG and butane, while the Arduino Uno processes the sensor data and triggers alarms when gas levels become dangerous. The prototype was tested in a simulated ship environment to assess its sensitivity, response time, and reliability. Test results show that the system detects gas concentrations above safe limits within 3 to 5 seconds, activating visual and audio alarms quickly. The device also operates continuously with low power consumption, making it suitable for long-term use on ships. The study shows that this prototype can serve as an affordable and reliable additional safety device for maritime settings. This research supports efforts to improve ship safety systems by offering a practical way to reduce risks from gas leaks and fires. The system’s simplicity and effectiveness make it a promising option for enhancing onboard hazard detection.
