Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of a regulation of the minister of national education number 24 of 2008, school administrative staff or education personnel are generally required to have three basic competencies, namely personality competence, social competence and technical competence, as well as one additional competency, namely managerial competence that must be possessed by administrative or administrative staff. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe (1) To determine the implementation of administrative personnel at SMP Negeri 3 Padang Panjang. (2) To determine the professionalism of administrative staff at SMP Negeri 3 Padang Panjang. (3) To determine the factors that affect the professionalism of Administrative Personnel at SMP Negeri 3 Padang Panjang. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The main data sources in this study were the principal, treasurer of administrative staff, financial administration staff and administration of facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 3 Padang Panjang. Data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques in research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study are: (1) The implementation of administrative staff at SMP Negeri 3 Padang Panjang has tried to improve their scientific insights, as well as trying to improve their quality to support a good and conducive administrative implementation process as desired and what is desired has been achieved. (2) The professionalism of Administrative Personnel at SMP Negeri 3 Padang Panjang can be said to be professional because they already have four competencies, namely personality competence, social competence, technical competence, managerial competence as well as being responsible and trustworthy in carrying out their duties according to the applicable main duties and functions. In principle, it already has four competencies, but for personality competence, especially in the discipline aspect, it is still lacking, this is shown by there are still administrative staff who are late for work. (3) The factors that influence the Professionalism of Administrative Personnel at SMP Negeri 3 Padang Panjang are divided into two factors. Internal factors are divided into two parts. Intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation, while external factors are divided into three parts, namely leadership, work climate, and facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the biography of KH Muhammad Mansur and to find out the education of KH Muhammad Mansur, as well as KH Muhammad Mansur's efforts in developing Islamic education . This type of research uses qualitative research in which the data is analyzed in a narrative manner using historical research methods which is a type of research that aims to systematically, accurately and objectively reconstruct incidents or events that have occurred in the past using a normative and interpretive approach. Retrieval of data using primary data and secondary data. Based on the data analysis carried out by the author, re-examines the data obtained for each question, and examines the data in depth by connecting one data to another, and draws conclusions using things that are at the heart of the results of in-depth research.

Abstract

Value-based leadership is essential for building a positive work culture, which can improve employee performance and satisfaction. Leaders can create a work environment that supports innovation and collaboration. By instilling values such as honesty, mutual respect, and responsibility, an effective leader can motivate and inspire team members to achieve business goals while also developing the character and integrity of each team member. When these values are adopted by all employees, they foster a strong sense of ownership and commitment to the company's vision and mission. The result is a positive organizational culture. This enhances productivity, reduces turnover rates, and boosts employee loyalty.

Abstract

This study explores the ethics of teachers in a global context by comparing the professionalism of educators in Finland and madrasah teachers in Indonesia. The research aims to identify key ethical principles and practices that define teacher professionalism in these distinct educational settings. Employing qualitative methods including literature review and interviews with educators from both countries, the study highlights similarities and differences in ethical standards, pedagogical approaches, and cultural influences. Findings reveal that while Finnish teachers emphasize autonomy, democratic values, and continuous professional development, Indonesian madrasah teachers integrate religious ethics alongside pedagogical professionalism. The study discusses implications for improving teacher training and ethical guidelines to enhance educational quality and foster intercultural understanding. This comparative analysis contributes to the global discourse on teacher ethics by providing insights into how cultural and institutional contexts shape professional values and responsibilities in education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan paradigma pendidikan Islam di Indonesia dan India dalam membangun generasi Muslim yang berdaya saing global. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka digunakan untuk menganalisis literatur berupa buku, jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dan laporan resmi yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam di Indonesia menekankan integrasi antara nilai agama dan ilmu umum melalui pengembangan pesantren dan madrasah modern, dukungan kebijakan pemerintah, serta program kewirausahaan dan literasi digital, sehingga lulusan memiliki kompetensi akademik, keterampilan praktis, dan karakter religius yang seimbang. Sementara itu, pendidikan Islam di India masih menghadapi tantangan dalam menyeimbangkan tradisi keilmuan klasik dengan tuntutan modernisasi, di mana sebagian madrasah belum diakui secara resmi dan kurikulum masih terbatas pada pengajaran agama, sehingga kesiapan lulusan untuk bersaing secara global terbatas. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa paradigma pendidikan Islam yang integratif dan didukung kebijakan konsisten dapat menghasilkan generasi Muslim yang adaptif, kreatif, dan kompetitif di tingkat global.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan sistem pendidikan Islam di Amerika Serikat dan Indonesia dalam perspektif integrasi nilai Islam dan modernitas. Pendidikan Islam di Amerika Serikat menekankan penguatan identitas keagamaan dalam konteks minoritas sekaligus penguasaan keterampilan modern, sedangkan di Indonesia fokus pada pemerataan kualitas pendidikan, penguatan tradisi keagamaan, dan pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi pustaka untuk menelaah kurikulum, kelembagaan, strategi integrasi, dan tantangan pendidikan Islam di kedua negara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai Islam dan modernitas harus disesuaikan dengan konteks sosial, demografi, dan kelembagaan. Sekolah Islam yang berhasil menggabungkan aspek tradisi dan inovasi mampu menghasilkan peserta didik berkarakter, kompeten, dan adaptif terhadap dinamika global. Temuan ini menjadi acuan penting dalam pengembangan model pendidikan Islam yang kontekstual, inklusif, dan adaptif terhadap modernitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dan ilmu pengetahuan dalam sistem pendidikan di Indonesia dan Mesir. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, melalui kajian literatur berupa buku, jurnal, dokumen kurikulum, dan sumber akademik terpercaya yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pendidikan di Indonesia menekankan fleksibilitas, kontekstualitas, dan adaptasi terhadap keragaman budaya, sehingga integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari peserta didik. Sementara Mesir menekankan kesinambungan tradisi pendidikan klasik melalui struktur kurikulum yang sistematis, dengan penguasaan ilmu agama sebagai landasan moral, sehingga integrasi ilmu pengetahuan dan nilai-nilai Islam berlangsung secara konsisten. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa adaptasi terhadap globalisasi dan teknologi memerlukan strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif di Indonesia, sedangkan Mesir menekankan kesinambungan tradisi dengan penyesuaian ilmu modern secara selektif. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam yang holistik, relevan, dan mampu menghasilkan generasi yang cerdas, berakhlak mulia, beriman, serta berdaya saing global.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam pembentukan identitas keislaman generasi muda di Malaysia dan Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, mengumpulkan data dari buku, jurnal, artikel ilmiah, dan dokumen resmi terkait pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembaga pendidikan Islam di Malaysia menekankan modernisasi kurikulum, integrasi pendidikan formal dan non-formal, serta pembekalan kompetensi global, sementara di Indonesia lebih menonjolkan tradisi keagamaan, keteladanan guru, pembiasaan praktik ibadah, dan penguatan nilai lokal. Perbandingan strategi dan pendekatan menunjukkan bahwa kedua negara memiliki tujuan yang sama, yaitu membentuk identitas keislaman yang kuat dan berkarakter, namun dengan metode yang disesuaikan dengan konteks sosial, budaya, dan kebijakan masing-masing negara. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang relevansi pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk generasi Muslim yang berpengetahuan, berakhlak, dan mampu berkontribusi positif dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

This study compares the educational evaluation systems in Indonesia and Finland and their implications for learning quality. The method used is a library study, collecting data from literature related to educational evaluation policies in both countries. The educational evaluation system in Indonesia is quite complex, implementing various forms of assessment, such as homework (PR), daily tests, mid-semester assessments (PTS), final semester assessments (PAS), and school exams (US). Indonesia also implements the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) as a requirement for student graduation. In contrast, Finland implements a simpler evaluation system with an emphasis on formative evaluation, a reduced number of exams, and the absence of the KKM or National Exam (UN). In the Finnish system, students are not held back from a grade, and evaluation is conducted throughout the learning process, focusing on students' continuous development. The results of this study indicate that differences in evaluation systems have a significant impact on learning methods and the development of educational quality in each country. The implication is the need to adapt evaluation policies that integrate holistic and formative aspects to improve learning quality, particularly in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam di Vietnam mengalami transformasi signifikan akibat interaksi antara modernisasi lembaga, pembaruan kurikulum, dan pengaruh globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dinamika pendidikan Islam terkait kelembagaan, kurikulum, praktik keagamaan, dan identitas generasi muda Muslim Cham. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi pustaka dengan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembaga pendidikan Islam mengalami modernisasi administratif, kurikulum mengintegrasikan ilmu umum dan agama, praktik keagamaan generasi muda dipengaruhi oleh akses informasi global, dan identitas keagamaan direkonstruksi menjadi lebih reflektif serta adaptif. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan Islam berperan strategis dalam pelestarian tradisi, pemberdayaan intelektual, dan integrasi sosial komunitas Muslim di negara non-Muslim.
