Abstract

Employee performance can be influenced by various factors, including work discipline, incentives, and work environment. When these factors are good or good, they can lead to increased employee performance. This research aims to examine the influence of work discipline, incentives and work environment on employee performance at oil and gas companies in Batam City, with job satisfaction as a mediating factor. The research methodology uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using SmartPLS. This research involved 431 employee respondents and the results showed that work discipline, providing incentives and the work environment had a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance, and the combined impact of work discipline, incentives, and work environment on employee performance has a significant positive value which is mediated by job satisfaction.

Abstract

PT Angkasa Engineers Indonesia telah berpengalaman dalam bidang kontruksi khususnya, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, Instrumentasi, serta proyek pengerjaan Offsshore-Onshore. Beberapa perusahaan-perusahaan besar telah percaya kepada PT Angkasa Engineers Indonesia sebagai subcont mereka untuk menangani proyek-proyeknya, diantaranya PT Saipem Karimun, PT VME Process, PT `SMOE Indonesia, PT Siemens, PT Profab, dan lain-lain. PT Angkasa Engineers Indonesia ini memiliki 3 cabang lain yang berada di Negara India, Malaysia, dan Singapore. Hingga saat ini total karyawan mencapai 460 orang untuk cabang Indonesia. Dengan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang berkompeten, PT Angkasa Engineers Indonesia dapat mempertahankan kliennya serta mampu bersaing dengan perusahaan jasa konstruksi lainnya. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas kerja mereka, perusahaan memberikan kompensasi dan insentif serta tunjungan-tunjangan yang menjanjikan sesuai yang tertampung di dalam perjanjian kerja pekerja. Perjanjian kerja tersebut bersifat mengikat yang mana berisikan penawaran-penawaran yang disepakati oleh kedua belah pihak.Untuk itu, perusahaan menyusun perjanjian kerja yang mana akan mengikat pihak pertama selaku perusahaan dan pihak kedua selaku karyawan. Ini bertujuan untuk saling berkomitmen atara kedua belah pihak dan menghindari adanya kerugian ataupun tuntutan dikemudian hari. Maka dari itu PT Angkasa Engineers Indonesia harus melampirkan draft perjanjian kerja yang mana isinya harus memenuhi peraturan ketentuan Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2020, Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 tentang ketenagakerjaan dan sistem pengupahan yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang Tahun 2003 pasal 58 ayat 1 dan 2 tentang ketenagakerjaan.
