Abstract

This classroom action research report aims to find the most effective way in teaching and learning activities so that students can achieve maximum learning objectives. This class action report uses a cyclical system in finding the best way of learning, this process does not necessarily become a report but through complete data collection, so that the results achieved are real according to actual conditions. : Exploration, Explanation, Expantion, and Evaluation. This learning cycle learning model can effectively be applied to students at all levels. The learning cycle applied in this research consists of four phases, namely exploration, explanation, expansion and evaluation. With these phases, it is hoped that through learning this learning cycle model students will learn more meaningfully, that learning is a process of obtaining goals, and knowledge is obtained by constructing their own meanings from their own experiences. It is hoped that students' process skills will increase so that their learning outcomes will also increase. Laporan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk mencari cara yang paling efektif dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar agar siswa dapat tercapai tujuan pembelajaran secara maksimal. Laporan tindakan kelas ini menggunakan sistem siklus dalam mencari cara belajar yang terbaik, proses ini tidak serta merta menjadi sebuah laporan tapi melalui pengumpulan data yang lengkap, agar hasil yang dicapai riil sesuai kondisi yang sebenarnya. :Exploration (Eksplorasi), Explanation (Penjelasan), Expantion(Penerapan Konsep), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). model pembelajaran siklus belajar ini secara efektif dapat diterapkan untuk siswa pada semua tingkat. Siklus belajar yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari empat fase, yaitu eksplorasi, eksplanasi, ekspansi dan evaluasi. Dengan adanya fase-fase tersebut diharapkan melalui pembelajaran model siklus belajar ini siswa akan belajar lebih bermakna, bahwa belajar merupakan proses memperoleh tujuan, serta pengetahuan diperoleh dengan mengkonstruksi sendiri pengertian-pengertian dari pengalaman yang dialami sendiri. Dengan begitu diharapkan keterampilan proses siswa akan meningkat sehingga hasil belajarnya juga akan meningkat.

Abstract

Based on the results of interviews most students interviewed about IPS lessons stated that it is difficult to understand the subject matter if students study individually, resulting in less active student activity results. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to research the application of learning that can increase student learning activities, namely by the application of cooperative learning STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions). The purpose of this study is to know the IPS learning activities of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Lenteng Sumenep. The subject of this study was a class VIII Sumenep student who numbered 38 students, consisting of 27 male students and 11 female students. The results of this study are that students' learning activities are measured based on an average increase in the percentage of student learning activities each cycle and the level of success of actions. The research instruments used in this study are tests, observation sheets of student and teacher activities, and field records. The results of the study are known that the application of cooperative learning STAD can increase the learning activities of students of class VIII SMPN 1 Lenteng Sumenep. The increase in student learning activity was shown by an average increase in the percentage of student learning activity and the degree of success of actions from 39.52% (less) in cycle I to 63.97% (sufficient) in cycle II, and increased to 79.96% (good) in cycle III. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara sebagian besar siswa yang diwawancarai tentang pelajaran IPS menyatakan bahwa merasa kesulitan untuk memahami materi pelajaran jika siswa belajar secara individu, sehingga hasil aktivitas siswa kurang aktif. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang penerapan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa, yaitu dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions). Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui aktivitas belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 LentengSumenep. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII Sumenep yang berjumlah 38 siswa, terdiri 27 siswa laki-laki dan 11 siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian ini adalahaktivitas belajar siswa diukur berdasarkan peningkatan rata-rata persentase aktivitas belajar siswa setiap siklus dan taraf keberhasilan tindakan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu soal tes, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar IPS siswa kelas VIIISMPN 1 LentengSumenep. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan rerata persentase aktivitas belajar siswa dan taraf keberhasilan tindakan dari 39,52% (kurang) pada siklus I menjadi 63,97% (cukup) pada siklus II, dan meningkat menjadi 79,96% (baik) pada siklus III.

Abstract

The research focuses on the “Analysis of the effectiveness of the Special Allocation Fund (SAF) in financing the reconstruction of school facilities in Bogor Regency”. Dana Alokasi Khusus or SAF is one the Indonesian Government’s budget schemes initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture or the MoEC to assist local governments in reconstructing school buildings that are heavily damaged due to various reasons. However, There have been an increasing number of damaged classrooms over the years during the period 2016 to 2018 in Bogor Regency, one of the worst in Indonesia. The conceptual framework was developed based on three main theoretical frameworks: the theory on measuring the effectiveness of finance policy implementation; the budget accountability in analyzing the effectiveness of public expenditure; and the currently applied government system based on decentralization policy in budget allocation in Indonesia. The research used qualitative methodology, which analyzed the collected data and information descriptively. Semi structured questionnaires were used to conduct interviews to relevant stakeholders. The implementation of building reconstruction based on allocated SAF has been both effective and ineffective. SAF scheme as one of the fiscal policy instruments under decentralization policy for improving the education quality has shown to be less effective due to miss-allocation of budget, improper distribution, lack of participation and transparency, and increased public complaint.The budget accountability of SAF in Bogor Regency has shown that policy on SAF use needs to improve. Recommendation should be directed towards policies to ensure fair process in selecting school as recipient, fair budget distribution, increased public participation and transparency

Abstract

This study aims to examine the number of goats owned and the education levels of breeders in Kedungbanteng District, to assess their economic welfare, and to analyze the influence of livestock numbers and education on the welfare of goat farmers. Kedungbanteng District was selected using purposive sampling due to its relatively high poverty rate in Banyumas Regency. Villages were sampled randomly, representing 50% of the district’s total villages: Beji, Karangnangka, Kedungbanteng, Dawuhan Kulon, Kebocoran, Dawuhan Wetan, and Melung.A total of 77 goat breeders were selected as respondents using the Slovin formula and random sampling. Data were analyzed through quantitative descriptive analysis, NTPRP, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that breeders owned an average of 5.67 goats, had an average of 7.27 years of formal education, and achieved an average welfare level of 1.49. Furthermore, the study found that both the number of livestock owned and the breeders’ education levels significantly influenced their economic welfare.
