Belum adanya data komprehensif mengenai kebutuhan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran di berbagai satuan pendidikan di Provinsi Jawa Barat dapat menghambat upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yang relevan dengan perkembangan teknologi dan tuntutan kurikulum terkini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran di berbagai satuan pendidikan baik PAUD, SD, SMP, SMA, SMK, maupun SLB di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan survei dilakukan terhadap 5.986 orang guru dari berbagai satuan pendidikan di 27 kabupaten/kota Provinsi Jawa Barat. Teknik pengambilan sampling menggunakan stratified random sampling. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran elektronik, seperti media presentasi dan aplikasi pembelajaran, merupakan media yang paling banyak dibutuhkan dan digunakan oleh guru karena dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan interaktivitas, visualisasi, dan fleksibilitas pembelajaran. Berbeda dengan media immersive seperti virtual reality (VR) dan augmented reality (AR) yang jarang digunakan karena keterbatasan ketersediaan dan keterampilan guru. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan pergeseran menuju digitalisasi pembelajaran, terutama di jenjang SMA dan SMK. Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan guru disarankan adanya pengembangan media elektronik, peningkatan akses dan infrastruktur teknologi, fasilitasi pelatihan guru, serta pengembangan platform pembelajaran digital yang terintegrasi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang kebutuhan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran di Jawa Barat, yang dapat menjadi dasar kebijakan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih interaktif, inklusif, dan berbasis teknologi. The lack of comprehensive data regarding the needs and usage of learning media across various educational units in West Java Province can hinder efforts to improve the quality of learning that is relevant to technological advancements and current curriculum demands. This research aims to identify the needs and usage of learning media across various educational units, including early childhood education (PAUD), elementary school (SD), junior high school (SMP), senior high school (SMA), vocational high school (SMK), and special education school (SLB) in West Java Province. The research employs a quantitative approach, and a survey was conducted on 5,986 teachers from various educational units across 27 regencies/cities in West Java Province. The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling. The survey results indicate that electronic learning media, such as presentation media and learning applications, are the most needed and used media by teachers because they are considered effective in enhancing interactivity, visualization, and learning flexibility. In contrast, immersive media such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are rarely used due to limited availability and teacher skills. The research findings indicate a shift towards the digitalization of learning, especially at the senior high school and vocational high school levels. Recommendations to meet teachers' needs include the development of electronic media, improved access to and technology infrastructure, facilitation of teacher training, and the development of an integrated digital learning platform. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a clear picture of the needs and usage of learning media in West Java, which can serve as a basis for policies to create a more interactive, inclusive, and technology-based learning environment.
