Abstract

This qualitative research is aim to evaluate the quality of Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Imam Bonjol Padang’ website. We adopt Webqual 4.0 to measure the quality, then mapping the result into Importance-Performance Analysis Quadrant to obtain which attribute should be prioritized for improvement. The gap between expectation and performance of the website is -0.126 which shows that the website does not meet the visitor expectation yet. Further, four attribute should be prioritized for improvement, namely attractive appearance, appropriate design related to the type of website, information relevance, and conveys a sense of community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas video pembelajaran dan ketersediaan teknologi terhadap motivasi dan pemahaman materi yang dirasakan mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis SEM-PLS, penelitian ini melibatkan 96 mahasiswa yang pernah menggunakan video pembelajaran. Hasil validasi instrumen menunjukkan reliabilitas dan validitas yang baik. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kualitas teknologi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kualitas video dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa, sedangkan kualitas video berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap motivasi dan pemahaman materi. Implikasi penelitian ini mendukung pentingnya kualitas video dan teknologi dalam meningkatkan pengalaman belajar mahasiswa di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Hasilnya juga dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan teknologi pendidikan yang lebih baik. This study aims to analyze the impact of video quality and technology availability on student motivation and perceived understanding of course material in higher education. Employing a quantitative approach with SEM-PLS analysis, the research involved 96 students who had utilized instructional videos. Instrument validation results demonstrated good reliability and validity. Findings indicated that technology quality significantly and positively influences both video quality and student learning motivation. Additionally, video quality has a significant positive impact on both motivation and perceived understanding. The implications of this study underscore the importance of video quality and technology in enhancing the learning experience for students in higher education. The results also serve as a foundation for the development of improved educational technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menginvestigasi hubungan antara ketersediaan teknologi, kualitas video pembelajaran, self-efficacy, intensi belajar, dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Metode kuantitatif dengan analisis SEM-PLS digunakan untuk menganalisis data dari 139 mahasiswa di Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan teknologi, mempengaruhi kualitas video pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar. Kualitas video pembelajaran juga berdampak signifikan pada self-efficacy, intensi belajar, dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Implikasi temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya lembaga pendidikan memperhatikan infrastruktur teknologi dan pengembangan konten video pembelajaran yang berkualitas guna meningkatkan pengalaman belajar mahasiswa. Hasil ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif di era digital saat ini. Penelitian mendukung upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi dengan memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi motivasi dan kesiapan belajar mahasiswa. This study investigates the relationship between technology availability, video learning quality, self-efficacy, learning intention, and student learning motivation in a university setting. Quantitative methods with SEM-PLS analysis were employed to analyze data from 139 students in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. The results indicate that technology availability influences the quality of video learning and learning motivation. Additionally, the quality of video learning significantly impacts student self-efficacy, learning intention, and learning motivation. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of educational institutions paying attention to technological infrastructure and developing quality video learning content to enhance the student learning experience. These results make a significant contribution to the development of more effective learning strategies in the current digital era. The study supports efforts to enhance the quality of higher education by considering factors that influence student motivation and readiness to learn.
