<![CDATA[Abstract - Television can provide maximum information and satisfaction to the public. The presence of television stations that 'Healthy' and educate was increasingly perceived needs. Information is one of the needs for humans to be able to know, understand, and understand the things that exist and happen around it becomes very important to meet the needs of news. Society should be demanded to be more selective in the selection of news media information and supported technological advances, information needs will be more easily met. TV station programs have more news content than entertainment. This then becomes a separate rivalry between news programs to present interesting news either from the side of the content or presentation in order to be interested by the viewers. Decision support system that has the ability to analyze the selection of television media news-based information using the method Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP) one of the methods in decision-making system that uses several variables with the process of stratified analysis. This is useful to facilitate decision-making related to the selection of information-based television news media so that selected as a media-based television news information with the weight of the assessment. Key words : Decision Support System, AHP, Television Media Abstrak - Media televisi merupakan media massa yang paling efektif dalam penyebaran informasi. Televisi dapat memberikan berita informasi dan kepuasan yang maksimal kepada masyarakat. Kehadiran stasiun televisi yang 'Sehat' dan mendidik pun semakin dirasakan kebutuhannya. Informasi adalah salah satu kebutuhan bagi manusia untuk bisa mengetahui, memahami,dan mengerti hal-hal yang ada dan terjadi disekitarnya menjadi sangat penting untuk memenuhi kebutuhan berita. Masyarakat harus dituntut agar lebih selektif dalam pemilihan media berita informasi dan didukung kemajuan teknologi, kebutuhan informasi akan semakin mudah terpenuhi. Program-program stasiun televisi mempunyai isi acara berita (news) lebih banyak dari pada hiburan. Hal ini kemudian menjadi persaingan tersendiri antara program berita untuk menyajikan berita-berita yang menarik baik dari sisi konten ataupun penyajiannya agar diminati oleh pemirsanya. Sistem pendukung keputusan yang mempunyai kemampuan analisa pemilihan media televisi berbasis berita informasi dengan menggunakan metode Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP) salah satu metode dalam sistem pengambilan keputusan yang menggunakan beberapa variabel dengan proses analisis bertingkat. Hal ini berguna untuk memudahkan pengambilan keputusan yang terkait dengan pemilihan media televisi berbasis berita informasi sehingga yang terpilih sebagai media televisi berbasis berita informasi dengan bobot penilaian.
