Abstract

A quail is a type of poultry which producers meat and egg that are rich protein and nutrients in it. Various efforts undertaken to improve the productivity of quail in the scale of cultivation, such as the addition of hormones, feed manipulation, as well as providing additional light with the ultimate goal of optimal growth so that better productivity. Light is one external factor that can spur the growth and control of various biological processes in the body poultry. This research’s aims are to create a tool that is able to increase the quantity and quality of quail eggs by controlling the light requirements in accordance with the needs of the quail, the illumination using monochromatic light blue by 15-25 lux for 14 hours per day. The method used to made Light Intensity Control System at Quail’s Cage Based-on Arduino Uno, it is starts with collecting information, design tools, making tools, testing tools and conclusions. Based on the results of tests that have been performed on prototype instrument control systems in the light intensity quail cage conclusion that the tool is able to work well in accordance with the design.

Abstract

The mobile application by using SMS (Short Message Service) is a service technology of messages delivery in short way. The user likes using SMS because of several reasons which are cheaper, more simple, and available in any kind of phone. PT. Centerpoint Putra Sejahtera is a retail company that has many costumers. The development of promotion information system with SMS Gateway base is made to simplify the costumer in getting the promotion information and point checking. This application is using Sekuensial Linear method that has analysis phase, design, codes and testing. The language program is using PHP, database saving is using MySQL, and Engine SMS Gateway use Gammu. The promotion information system will send SMS every time there is promotion which is happening or will happening in Centerpoint. The costumers also become easier to get point checking that has been collected while shopping in Centerpoint based on the SMS format. The result of testing system shows that the promotion information system based-on SMS Gateway can be used by the company.Keywords : SMS Gateway, Sekuensial Linier method, Promotion

Abstract

 The design of knowledge management based applications to monitor this academic achievement facilitated interface in the form of Applications used by the manager of academic achievement in Higher Education. Students academic achievement is generally shown through the evaluation results in final form with GPA, as well as at Informatics Business Institute (IBI) Darmajaya. IBI Darmajaya to produce competent graduates in their field is not enough just to provide learning support facilities such as adequate facilities and infrastructure, reliable lecturers, good curriculum, and scholarship facilities. Application Monitoring academic achievement is needed so that IBI Darmajaya can continue to control the increase or decrease in student achievement so that it can pass on time. Therefore, the design of knowledge management based applications for monitoring academic achievement as an interface in the management of academic achievement is needed. With the stages of SDLC, knowledge management system will provide convenience in the design of applications, so the application produces information that becomes knowledge for IBI Darmajaya and the manager in particular can monitor academic achievement, controlling the increase in student achievement in each semester, so that students are motivated to learn and pass appropriately time. Applications with the right information search attempt to motivate the CPI to remain above the average provisions, to provide a CPK report to parents and management of scholarship managers. Keywords: Application Design, Knowledge management, academic achievement, IPK

Abstract

IBI Darmajaya is one of private university that located onBandar lampung which still use manual attendance.that isuse attendance book every time student come or leave theclass. This final report has a purpose to build anattendance system prototype that use a RFID technologywhich is integrated with arduino to increase the disciplineattitude program of student s honesty IBI Darmajaya.The prototype of RFID attendance system consist ofseveral main components such as tags and card that willbe used in KTM (Kartu Tanda Mahasiswa) and reader thatwill be used to read the information related to the studentattendance. The result of this final project is a prototype ofRFID for student attendance which has a function to storestudent s attendace data, with a maximum range 5cm anda minimum read 0,7 second to do an optimalfunctionability.KEY WORDS : Student Attendance System, RFID

Abstract

The parking area for IBI Darmajaya employees is the parking area where IBI Darmajaya employees put their vehicles. The problem statement of this research was the high number of IBI Darmajaya students putting their vehicle in the parking area for IBI Darmajaya employees due to limited parking space. This problem was able to be overcome by designing a system to open an access into the parking area through fingerprint system as the identifier (input) and Arduino Uno as the main controller. This system consisted of 4 main components i.e., the fingerprint sensor, the ultrasonic sensor, the servo motor, and the parking bar. The parking bar control system used Arduino Uno-based fingerprint system that was useful to shorten the verification process so that the vehicle was able to get into the parking area. The result of this research was that the fingerprint system-based parking bar control was able to save the 1,000 employee fingerprint records. An average for matching fingerprints to the closing bars was 4.86 seconds form the entrance bar and 4.8 seconds to the exit bar with 450 cm of the maximum distance between the ultrasonic sensor and the vehicle.
