<![CDATA[Demam tifoid adalah suatu penyakit infeksi sistemik akut yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Salmonella typhi. Salah satu pemeriksaan penunjang untuk diagnosis demam tifoid dengan menggunakan uji serologi TUBEX TF yaitu pemeriksaan diagnostik in vitrosemikuantitatif untuk mendeteksi demam tifoid akut, melalui deteksi spesifik adanya serum antibodi IgM terhadap antigen S. typhi O9 lipopolisakarida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan derajat kepositifan TUBEX TF terhadap angka leukosit pada pasien demam tifoid. Jenis penelitian adalah observasional analitik untuk mengetahui hubungan derajat kepositifan TUBEX TF terhadap angka leukosit pada pasien demam tifoid dengan desain cross-sectional. Data diambil dari rekam medis RS PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta periode Januari 2011-April 2012, didapatkan 86 pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi dari penelitian ini. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik dengan uji Spearman didapatkan nilai p = 0,781 (p0,05) dan nilai correlation coefficient -0,030 yang menunjukkan hubungannya sangat lemah dengan arah korelasi negatif. Disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara derajat kepositifan TUBEX TF terhadap angka leukosit pada pasien demam tifoid.Typhoid fever is an acute systemic infection disease caused by Salmonella typhi. This research aims to determine the relation between degree positivity of TUBEX TF toward leukocytes count in patients with typhoid fever. This reÂsearch is observational analytic with cross-sectional design to know relation between degree positivity of TUBEX TF toward leukocytes count in patients with typhoid fever. Data retrieved from the medical records RS PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta period January 2011-April 2012, found 86 patients who fill up the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the study. Based on statistical calculations obtained with the Spearman test p=0.781 (p 0.05) and the correlation coefficient value is -0.030 indicating very weak relation with direction of the negative correlation. It can concluded that there was no significant relation between degree positivity of TUBEX TF toward leukocytes count in patients with typhoid fever.]]>
