Abstract

PT Central Texindo is a knitting company located in Padalarang Bandung. Currently the company is facing problems in the knitting department. The problem faced by the company is thatinstallation time cones are long enough so that the output of the company is less than optimal. In addition there is also the production disruptions that can not be avoided that thread broke during ongoing production. The required data, data on the number and type of machine used, the data processing time of each machine, cones installation time data, event data and time the thread breaking these connections, the data engine oil changes, and gray cloth production data. After the data collected, conducted runs test and goodness of fit test. Next conducted model using software Promodel. Simulation in PT Central Texindo belong to the non-terminating simulation. The proposal is made that a change of assignment operators in an effort to increase production output with the same number of operators. Assignment operator is an operator currently supervise 3 machines, which occurs when a thread broke operator must immediately make improvements to the production process can take place again. In addition, operators must perform the replacement cones every machine theyoversee. Average gray cloth which can be produced as many as 555,632 companies roll per day. The scenario is to create assignment two operators supervise 6 machines, three operators supervise 9 machines, and four operators supervise 12 machines. The results obtained indicate that the averageoutput of the scenarios four operators supervise 12 machines produce more output. The increase in output is obtained that is equal to 17,42% or average production output 652,421 roll per day. Proposed assignment operator is only limited to the four operators who supervise 12 machines because of the location of the installation of the cones are limited or not allowed to exceed 4 operators.Keywords: Runs Test, Goodness Of Fit, Simulation, Increased Production Output

Abstract

Creative and innovative treatment of media can increase childrens interest in learning the language acquisition. The purpose of this paper is to reveal an increase in language skills in children with E-book “Asal-usul Padi”treatment. This paper uses the method of instructional media development and action research (action research). Media were developed with media programming by displaying various forms of impressions in the E-book “Asal-usul Padi”tools both visually and audiovisually. This treatment of media is applied to sensorimotor as a neurological processes by manipulating, facilitating,and adapting the environment in order to achieve improvement, repair, and maintenance competence language in children. The result of this research showed that the increasing the proficiency index is registered with hi - tech media treatment and able boost both value and creative character in children, especially the age of 5 years. It was seen in the change of any action bythe author based on the content and speech acts as well as the measurement index of child language skill, especially in terms of syntactic and pragmatic development. In addition, the development of media for language acquisition will foster motivation, creativity, and positive character traits inchildren. Thus, development of media treatment of language acquisition can be used as a model for the improvement of language skills in normal children.Keywords: language acquisitionin children, the development of syntactic, pragmatic development, treatment E-book “Asal-usul Padi”

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the contribution of the four basic functions of social support to the dimensions of psychological well-being on the elderly that live at Panti “X”Sukabumi. The dimensions of psychological well- being are measured by a modified version of The Ryff Scales ofPsychological Well-Being, based on Ryff„s theory (1995). The functions of social support are measured by using a social support questionnaire that is constructed based on the social support theory of Uchino (2004). The validity process of both instruments is performed by using content validity with 4 experts. The research questionnaire had been distributed to20 elderly that live at Panti “X” Sukabumi. The data were statistically processed by using the statistical multiple regression.Based on the statistical analysis in this research, the conclusions are: An emotional support has a significant contribution to a positive relationship with one another, a tangible/instrumental support has a significant contribution to the environmental mastery, while a companionship support has a significant contribution to the personal growth. It is suggested to examine the relationship or influencial traits of social support and dimensions of psychological well-being. The manager andhead of the boarding arrange activities to increase the intensity of communication of elderly and equip them with facilities to support the health of the elderly.Keywords: Psychological well-being, social support, elderly

Abstract

Car machine failures are vehicle problems commonly found in big cities. Due to lack of knowledge, people sometimes make a mistaken conclusion about the car problems. In this research, asystem was developed to obtain the real cause of such car machine failures by using backwardchaining inference method. The system utilized an expert system approach which was infered from rule-based knowledge. The knowledge was acquired from literature study and expert interviews. Incontrast to forward-chaining method which starts from a set of facts to make a conclusion, backwardchaining method starts from a conclusion to be proved by supported facts. The use of this system is performed simply by answering some questions according to the problems identification. As a result,the system gives conclusions that are collected from car problems generated from inferences. Outcomes of this study may help to overcome car problems, especially for Honda Accord Cielo used as a study case.Keywords: Backward-chaining, problems identification, car machine failures

Abstract

Abstrak - Tunanetra adalah istilah umum yang digunakan untuk kondisi seseorang yang mengalami gangguan atau hambatan dalam indra penglihatannya. Berdasarkan tingkat gangguannya Tunanetra dibagi dua yaitu buta total (total blind) dan yang masih mempunyai sisa penglihatan (Low Vision). Dalam melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari penyandang tunanetra dibantu dengan menggunakan tongkat. Namun penggunaan tongkat oleh penyandang tunanetra dirasa belum maksimal untuk melakukan pekerjaan mereka sehari-hari, dikarenakan mereka hanya mampu mendeteksi objek atau benda yang berada di jalan atau dibagian bawah mereka, tetapi untuk mendeteksi objek yang berada lurus didepan mereka, meraka harus menggunakan tangan mereka, yaitu dengan cara meraba atau memegang objek yang ada didepan mereka. Selain itu terjadi kesulitan dalam mencari mereka jika mereka berada diluar rumah atau sedang berpergian sebab mereka tidak mengetahui lokasi keberadaan mereka pada saat itu juga. Maka dari itu diperlukan sebuah sistem atau alat yang mampu untuk mendeteksi dan mengenali objek yang berada didepan mereka, serta mampu untuk memonitoring keberadaan mereka jika berada diluar rumah, yaitu dengan cara membuat sebuah aplikasi object detection dan tracking untuk penyandang tunanetra dengan menggunakan IoT (Internet of Things), dimana tujuan dari pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penyandang tunanetra dalam melakukan kegiatan mereka sehari-hari dan juga dapat membantu untuk mengetahui keberadaan mereka dengan cepat jika mereka berada diluar rumah
