Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana peningkatan disposisi matematis siswa setelah diberikan pendekatan Problem Solving dalam pembelajaran materi operasi perkalian bilangan bulat di kelas VII MTs Ushuluddin Singkawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIb sebanyak 29 siswa. Berdasarkan uji t menggunakan program SPSS 18.0 for windows diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.00 ≤  0.05, yang artinya terdapat  peningkatan disposisi  matematis siswa setelah diterapkan pendekatan  Problem Solving dalam pembelajaran materi operasi perkalian bilangan bulat. Berdasarkan  perhitungan Effect Size, diperoleh konstribusi penerapan pendekatan Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan disposisi matematis siswa sebesar 49.83 %. Kata kunci: Disposisi Matematis, Problem Solving, Perkalian.   This study aims to explain the improvement of students’ mathematical disposition after being given by a problem solving approach to learning materials integer multiplication operation in class VII MTs Ushuluddin Singkawang. The method used was a pre-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest research design. The sample in this study was students in class VIIb with 29 students. Based on t test using SPSS 18.0 for windows, it was obtained that the score for Sig. (2-tailed) = 0:01 <α = 0.05, which means that There is an improvement of students' mathematical disposition after the application of Problem Solving approach to learning materials integer multiplication operation. Based on the Effect Size calculation, it was obtained that the contribution of the application of Problem Solving approach contributes to the ability of students' mathematical disposition as 49.83%.   Keywords: Mathematically Disposition, Problem Solving, Multiplication
