Abstract

IntroductionMobile banking has become an essential aspect of modern financial services, particularly among digitally literate populations such as Gen Z and Millennials. Despite the widespread adoption of mobile banking, understanding the factors influencing its use in specific cultural and demographic contexts remains underexplored. This study investigates the adoption of Bank Syariah Indonesia's (BSI) mobile banking services among Gen Z and Millennials in Yogyakarta using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) framework.ObjectivesThe research aims to identify and analyze the key factors driving the decision to adopt mobile banking services, focusing on intrinsic motivators such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, price value, and habit, as well as external factors like social influence and facilitating conditions.MethodThis study employed a quantitative approach, collecting data from 124 respondents through structured questionnaires. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the relationships between the UTAUT2 factors and mobile banking adoption were evaluated.ResultsThe findings indicate that intrinsic factors, particularly habit, performance expectancy, and effort expectancy, significantly influence mobile banking adoption. Hedonic motivation and price value also play essential roles, whereas external factors such as social influence and facilitating conditions were found to have no significant impact.ImplicationsThe study underscores the importance of user-centered strategies that enhance functionality, ease of use, and emotional satisfaction. It suggests that financial institutions should focus on fostering habitual engagement and cost-effective services to drive adoption.Originality/NoveltyThis research contributes to the literature on digital financial services by offering insights into mobile banking adoption among Gen Z and Millennials in Indonesia, emphasizing the relevance of intrinsic motivators in a technologically advanced context.

Abstract

This study examines the incorporation of Islamic philanthropy—zakat, infaq, and sadaqah—into the operational mechanism of Islamic microfinance by specifically focusing  on the maal program in Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT). This study aims to evaluate the role of philanthropic financial instruments in ethical finance and inclusive development from an Islamic perspective. A narrative literature review with sources mostly from Scopus, as well as using Islamic microfinance and maal function in BMT as keywords, was conducted. The approach was thematic, based on the purpose of Islamic law, namely, to preserve wealth and welbeing. The study results indicated that the maal function is the base principle in Islamic microfinance rather than an extra one. Models based on institutions such as BMT and waqf-related  finance have found a successful way to blend philanthropy with financial intermediation, hence economically empowering and providing social justice. The operational impact may be improved through strategic tools such as Islamic corporate social responsibility, digital zakat platforms, and performance measurement models. This research, in refocusing maal as instrumental in sustainable microfinance, adds to Islamic finance literature. This  analysis informs policy prescriptions and institutional reforms for moral, socially inclusive financial systems in the Muslim world BMT

Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of Good Corporate Governance concepts in the Aerofood ACS Unit of Yogyakarta. Good Corporate Governance is a procedure for corporate governance that must be carried out and well-structured as a benchmark for the company in running all of its business activities appropriately. The objective of this study is to find out how far the implementation of GCG principles has been applied to ACS Unit of Yogyakarta using indicators that refer to previous research pertaining to the application of GCG in a company in Indonesia. The indicator is taken from the research developed by (Andyoratama & Mustamu, 2013) in the form of an indicator of GCG principles through KNKG (2006). Data collection techniques were carried out by interviewing 3 informants, conducting documentation sessions and the review of literature. The results show that the Aerofood ACS of Yogyakarta company has implemented GCG principles well even though it has not been fully implemented. There are a number of GCG principles that have not been fully addressed, namely the principle of accountability along with CSR implementation indicators from the employees whereas researchers assume that the company is still lacking the maximum welfare to employees, and in terms of the environmental and community sides, the company has not contributed much to its CSR activities. The last obstacle in the company is that the company employees are lack of understanding of GCG. Therefore, the promotion of GCG values needs to be implemented by Aerofood ACS of Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This community service aims to empower Persit member mothers in improving their economic welfare. Cooking training was chosen as the approach in this program because it has the potential to provide better cooking skills as well as the opportunity to generate additional income through selling food. In this program, Persit women are given cooking technique training which includes choosing the right food ingredients, good cooking techniques, and a variety of healthy menus. In addition, they are also given knowledge about business management, marketing, and financial management. Through intensive mentoring, Persit member mothers are given support and guidance in developing their culinary business. This mentoring program has significant benefits.

Abstract

Perilaku food waste masih belum mendapat perhatian khusus di kalangan masyarakat. Food waste bukanlah suatu permasalahan baru, ini telah terjadi sejak lama hingga saat ini. Perilaku ini memiliki implikasi terhadap ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan. Mahasiswa, sebagai generasi di masa depan, yang masih berada di masa transisi kehidupan memiliki kecenderungan untukmemenuhi keinginan dan semata-mata guna mendapatkan pengakuan dari lingkungannya, tanpa memikirkan aspek-aspek pertimbangan dalam konsumsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmenganalisis determinan perilaku food waste pada mahasiswa muslim selama pandemi Covid-19 dan analisis perspektif Maqashid Syariah terhadap perilaku food waste. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu metode campuran antara kualitatif yang dilakukan melalui wawancara dan kuantitatif yang dilakukan melalui kuesioner. Jumlah data yang terkumpul sebanyak 116 responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah regresi linier berganda dengan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari variabel kesadaran diri dan religiusitas terhadap minat mengurangi perilaku food waste, namun variabel sosial media tidak menunjukkan pengaruh terhadap minat mengurangi perilaku food waste. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perilaku mahasiswa muslim belum bersesuaian dengan Maqashid Syariah maupun moral dan etika Islam, yang mana terlihat dari belum terpenuhinya aspek pemeliharaan agama (hifzu ad Din), pemeliharaan akal (Hifzu al Aql), dan pemeliharaan harta (Hifzu al Mal) seperti kurangnya rasa syukur untuk mengkonsumsi sesuatu maupun potensi pemborosan yang masih cukup tinggi. Abstract

Pertumbuhan pasar modal yang mengalami peningkatan di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Beberapa literatur mengungkapkan bahwa generasi Z merupakan salah satu kelompok pelaku pasar modal yang terus berkembang jumlahnya. Salah satu jenis invenstasi yang mulai menjadi trend dikalangan pemuda adalah investasi saham syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan investasi dan social media influencer terhadap minat investasi Generasi Z dalam berinvestasi saham syariah. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Generasi Z yang berusia 17 hingga 26 tahun di Indonesia yang belum berinvestasi di saham syariah. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data responden menggunakan kuesioner dengan total 150 orang partisipan. Setiap pertanyaan diukur dengan lima skala likert. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan investasi dan social media influencer berpengaruh positif terhadap minat investasi Generasi Z dalam berinvestasi saham syariah di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menjadi salah satu acuan dalam mengembangkan investasi saham syari’ah.

Abstract

Evolusi teknologi informasi dan semakin meningkatnya kepedulian masyarakat muslim terhadap kepatuhan terhadap prinsip halal telah mendorong perubahan signifikan di berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk di sektor keuangan yang memungkinkan terjadinya transaksi virtual dengan tetap berpegang pada nilai-nilai syariah. Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh berbagai faktor seperti ekspektasi kinerja, ekspektasi bisnis, pengaruh sosial, kondisi yang memfasilitasi, motivasi hedonis, nilai harga, kebiasaan, persepsi keamanan, dan kesalehan berdasarkan maqashid syariah terhadap minat mahasiswa muslim menggunakan syariah. layanan pinjaman online. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dan melibatkan 100 mahasiswa muslim di Yogyakarta sebagai objek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada seluruh responden melalui Google Form dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi berganda dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya variabel pengaruh sosial dan nilai harga yang mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa muslim dalam memanfaatkan pinjaman online syariah. sedangkan faktor lain seperti ekspektasi kinerja, ekspektasi upaya, kondisi yang memfasilitasi, motivasi hedonis, kebiasaan, persepsi keamanan, dan kesalehan berdasarkan maqashid syariah tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan.
