Abstract

Pendidikan MIPA perlu Mendapat penekanan dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan dasar dan menengah di masa depan. Orientasi pendidikan MIPA dalam era industrialisasi dan globalisasi seyogyanya pada diarahkan pembekalan anak didik dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar yang diperlukan untuk menguasai teknologi serta pengembangan berfikir logis, kritis, inovatif dan berinisiatif, sebagai tolok ukur kualitas sumber daya manusia dalam era itu. Pendidikan MIPA perlu turut serta pula dalam sosialisasi kebiasaan kompetitif dan mengutamakan kualitas melalui penciptaan suasana pendidikan yang menghargai  keunggulan dan kontrol kualitas hasil pendidikanABSTRACTMathematics and Science Education require more emphasis in future practices of elementary school and secondary education. In the era of industrialization and globalization, orientation in Math and Science Education should be directed to preparing students to have the basic knowledge and skills in applying technology and developing the logical ability, critical, innovative and creative thinking, which arequality measures of human resources for that era. Mathematics and Science education need to participate  in the socialization of competitive habit, and respect the quality of education by creating educational situations which appreciate excellence and control of the educatinal outcomes
