Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the teacher as class manager in increasing spiritual intelligence. Qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The subjects of the study were 7 teachers in the MIM Bendo special program. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. The data validation technique uses triangulation. While the data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: The teacher's role as class manager can improve students' spiritual intelligence through moral development strategies, moral studies, congregational prayers, Al-Quran learning, and Ramadhan Islamic boarding schools activities. With these steps, teachers can improve students' spiritual intelligence through fostering faith and morals. While the obstacles in increasing students' spiritual intelligence, such as a curriculum that focuses on academic aspects, lack of understanding and support, time constraints, differences in beliefs and values, and personal disobedience. To overcome these obstacles, teachers can take steps such as revising the curriculum, holding additional training, integrating spiritual values in learning, respecting students' different beliefs, and involving parents. Abstract

The application of story telling in the Mobile Library of the Archives and Library Service (Disarpus) of Kediri Regency was conducted from February 2018 – March 2018 which was divided into four cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. At each meeting, researchers used the same story, namely stories of fables and different in each cycle with an increase of approximately two to five children per-cycle. To promote of the mobile library services, the instition used Instagram. The research results showed that the Archives and Library Service (Disarpus) of Kediri Regency has exceeded the target achievement of Instagram as a promotional media, in its application it is divided into five cycles, each cycle carried out for one week. Instagram promotions are conducted to the first cycle to the fifth cycle there is an increase from 116 to 200 followers; the achievement of likes to occur from cycle I – cycle III, from 372 to 798 likes while from cycle III until V there is not change.
