Abstract

Background: Dental caries is one of the most common oral health problems worldwide, affecting 573 million children and 2.5 billion adults. Dental caries is a disease that attacks the hard tissues of the tooth, such as cementum, dentin, and enamel. This causes bacterial invasion, pulp death, and spread of infection to periapical tissues, which can cause pain. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the microbial culture picture of the oral cavity of patients with dental caries. Methods: This research is descriptive and the samples in this study amounted to 7 samples of patients with dental caries at Dr. Sitanala Hospital, Tangerang City. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling technique. Results: The results of this study found 1 sample (14.3%) of Candida albicans fungus in fungal culture. In addition, 9 samples (64.3%) of Staphylococcus Sp. bacteria, 3 samples (21.4%) of Klebsiella Sp. bacteria, and 2 samples (14.3%) of Bacillus Sp. bacteria were found in the bacteria culture. Conclusion: It has been proven that the oral cavity of dental caries sufferers contains various kinds of microbes, such as the fungus Candida albicans, the bacteria Staphylococcus Sp., the bacteria Klebsiella Sp., and the bacteria Bacillus Sp..

Abstract

Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah (DPAD) Kota Tangerang didirikan sesuai Peraturan Daerah Kota Tangerang Nomor 08 Tahun 2016, setelah penggabungan Kantor Arsip Daerah dan Kantor Perpustakaan Daerah berdasarkan Peraturan Daerah Nomor 13 Tahun 2014. Pengamatan terhadap situs web resmi DPAD Kota Tangerang menunjukkan kebutuhan akan sistem yang mampu memberikan layanan optimal kepada masyarakat. Kehadiran sistem ini sangat penting mengingat kinerja sistem sebelumnya dinilai kurang efisien dalam menyediakan layanan di bidang perpustakaan dan arsip. Metode analisis PIECES digunakan dalam penelitian ini, meliputi Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, dan Service. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan melalui pendekatan analisis berorientasi objek menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML), serta bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. DPAD Kota Tangerang mengimplementasikan sistem berbasis web, di mana PHP 5, Laravel Framework, dan MySQL digunakan untuk rancangan database, dan Visual Studio Code digunakan sebagai perangkat lunak pendukung dalam pembuatan program. Hasil penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sistem pengembangan situs web perpustakaan dan arsip agar dapat diimplementasikan secara efektif dan efisien, sehingga masyarakat dapat lebih tertarik untuk mengakses situs web tersebut guna memenuhi kebutuhan perpustakaan dan pengarsipan

Abstract

Background: Neuroprotectants are substances used to protect the nerves of fetuses at risk of premature birth. Administration of MgSO4 as a neuroprotectant is one of the interventions given to gravida at risk of premature birth at Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital. MgSO4 has a vasodilator side effect that is thought to cause a hypotensive effect. Magnesium also has a relaxing effect on smooth muscles which is expected to have the effect of reducing uterine contractions. It is not yet known how MgSO4 affects fetal heart rate. Aim: This study aims to determine the condition of maternal blood pressure, maternal uterine contractions, and fetal heart rate when MgSO4 is administered at the Ranu Grati HCU, Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital in 2022-2023. Method: Retrospective descriptive study using secondary data. Data were collected from medical records from January 2022 to December 2023 at the Ranu Grati HCU, Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital. The subjects in this study were all clinical data of gravida patients who received MgSO4 therapy as a neuroprotectant. Preeclampsia gravida patients who received MgSO4 were included in the exclusion criteria. Results: The study or 36 respondents, showed the average of systolic blood pressure of respondents decreasing up to 6,469 mmHg at 16thof MgSO4 admisnistration, then at the 24th hour of administration, systolic blood pressure increased by 0.3 mmHg. The average of diastolic blood pressure decreased by 4.4723 mmHg which occurred from the 0th hour to the 24th hour. Fetal Heart Rate showed a decrease in DJJ frequency of an average of 5,2x/minute. In uterine contractions, 91.7% of patients did not experience uterine contractions during neuroprotectant administration. Conclusion: Neuroprotectant administration has an insignificant effect on reducing blood pressure, fetal heart rate, and maternal uterine contractions. Keywords: Neuroprotectant; MgSO4
