Abstract

This article aims to convey information to the public regarding the inculcation and strengthening of character values implemented by teachers to students at SMA Sukma Bangsa Pidie through the Profile Strengthening Project for Pancasila Students (P5) program and the Independent Student Character Strengthening Program through Artwork (Presisi). The research problem in this study is how the strengthening of the Pancasila student profile and Presisi activities take place at SMA Sukma Bangsa Pidie. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. The data sources for the research are the activities of SMA Sukma Bangsa Pidie students in carrying out P5 and Presisi activities. The results obtained indicate that the process of inculcating and strengthening character values in students is very effective during the execution of these projects. Teachers accompany students in project activities and stimulate students towards the desired character traits. The characters formed include the six Pancasila profiles and 18 other characters agreed upon in the Education of Culture and National Character. As a result, every project-based learning carried out by students and teachers, especially in the P5 and Presisi programs, consistently instills and strengthens character values in students as expected outcomes of the P5 and Presisi processes at SMA Sukma Bangsa Pidie.

Abstract

Artikel yang berjudul “Kita Tahu, Kita Siaga, Kita belajar” ini ditulis bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan guru, siswa, dan masyarakat terhadap penyebaran virus covid-19 di kalangan Sekolah Sukma Bangsa Pidie dan masyarakat Pidie pada umumnya. Metode yang diterapkan untuk pengelolaan risiko bencana adalah sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan penerapan metode society, family and friendly. Metode ini dilaksanakan di SMA Sukma Bangsa Pidie untuk melindungi siswa dari virus dan memastikan proses pembelajaran tetap berlangsung dengan aman dan murah. Setiap proses pembelajaran diselipkan proses mitigasi dan kesiapsiagaan bencana di dalamnya. Hasilnya, siswa dapat memahami mayoritas pembelajaran dan belum ada siswa dan masyarakat sekitar SMA Sukma Bangsa Pidie yang terpapar virus covid-19. Siswa mengetahui sistem mitigasi terhadap covid-19, mampu bersiap siaga dalam menghadapi pandemi ini, dan terus belajar untuk keberlanjutan proses pendidikan. Hal itu terlihat dari proses pembelajaran yang dapat berlangsung dengan baik dan siswa mampu mendeskripsikan permasalahan yang dihadapi dan solusi yang ditawarkan.
