Abstract

Sumber daya manusia merupakan pengetahuan yang mengatur hubungan yang dimiliki oleh tenaga kerja, dengan adanya sumber daya manusia yang baik maka akan tercipta perusahaan yang baik. Kepuasan kerja merupakan salah satu hal yang penting, hal tersebut dikarenakan kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku seseorang di tempat kerjanya, yang dimana semakin tingginya tingkat kepuasan kerja yang dimiliki seseorang maka perilaku seseorang tersebut juga akan semakin baik dan sesuai dengan harapan perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara kepemimpinan transformasional, kompensasi, dan motivasi terhadap kepuasan kerja generasi Z di Jakarta Barat. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah generasi Z yang sedang bekerja, dalam usia 18 hingga 27 tahun , dan berdomisili di Jakarta Barat. Total sampel yang diperoleh berjumlah 100 sampel yang diperoleh dengan metode non-probability sampling. Data yang telah diperoleh, diolah dengan pemodelan persamaan struktural yang dibantu oleh program SmartPLS 4.0.9.4. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, sedangkan motivasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. Human resource are the knowledge that regulates the relationships that are owned by the workforce, with the existence of good human company resourcecs, good things will be created. Job satisfaction is an important thing, this is because job satisfaction has an influence on a person’s behavior at work, where the higher the level of job satisfaction a person has, the person’s behavior will also be better and in line with company expectations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational leadership, compensation, and motivation on the job satisfaction of generation Z in West Jakarta. The population of this study is generation Z who are working, aged 18 to 27 years, and domiciled in West Jakarta. The total samples obtained amounted to 100 samples obtained by non-probability samping method. The data that has been obtained is processed by structural equation modelling assisted by the SmartPLS 4.0.9.4 program. The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership and compensation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, while motivation has no effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional, kompensasi, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan two factor theory yang terdiri dari hygienie factors dan motivator factors dalam mengukur kepuasan kerja. Kuesioner penelitian dibuat dengan google form dan disebar secara online terhadap 51 responden yang merupakan karyawan yang menjabat sebagai staf di PT. Gracio Sentosa Abadi di Surabaya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dan dilakukan dua tahap, yakni uji validitas dan reliabilitas dan hasilnya semua indikator dalam penelitian ini adalah valid dan reliabel dalam mengukur variabel yang diukur. Kemudian tahap selanjutnya adalah analisis data di mana terdapat tiga hipotesis yang diuji dengan metode PLS-SEM melalui alat analisis SmartPLS versi 4.0. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik non-probability sampling dengan purposive sampling. Prosedur bootstrapping (two-tailed) dilakukan untuk menguji ketiga hipotesis tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Kemudian, kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Selanjutnya, motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational leadership, compensation, and work motivation on employee job satisfaction. This study uses two factor theory which consists of hygienie factors and motivator factors in measuring job satisfaction. The research questionnaire was made with google form and distributed online to 51 respondents who were employees who served as staff at PT Gracio Sentosa Abadi in Surabaya. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative methods and two stages were carried out, namely validity and reliability tests and the results of all indicators in this study were valid and reliable in measuring the variables measured. Then the next stage is data analysis where there are three hypotheses tested using the PLS-SEM method through the SmartPLS version 4.0 analysis tool. Sampling was carried out using non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. Bootstrapping procedures (two-tailed) were carried out to test the three hypotheses. The results of this study explain that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Then, compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, tujuan utamanya adalah untuk menguji secara khusus pengaruh motivasi kerja dan keterampilan interpersonal terhadap kesiapan kerja Generasi Z di wilayah Jakarta, dimana terdapat momentum industri yang berubah dengan cepat. Populasi penelitian ini mencakup Generasi Z di Jakarta. Sebanyak 156 responden dipilih sebagai sampel, yang mencakup usia minimum dan tempat tinggal. Populasi penelitian ini mencakup semua responden yang merupakan Generasi Z dan berdomisili di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pemilihan non-probability sampling dengan metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan convenience sampling untuk mengumpulkan data responden melalui google forms. Pengujian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4 yang terdiri dari dua analisis, yaitu outer model yang terdiri dari validitas dan reabilitas, serta inner model pada bagian analisis data. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan interpersonal dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja Generasi Z di Jakarta. Penelitian ini memberikan panduan bagi dunia usaha dan organisasi untuk meningkatkan kesiapan kerja Generasi dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan teori tentang motivasi kerja dan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal dalam konteks Generasi Z di Jakarta. In this study, the main objective is to specifically examine the influence of work motivation and interpersonal skills on Generation Z's job readiness in the Jakarta area, where there is a rapidly changing industry momentum. The population of this study includes Generation Z in Jakarta. A total of 156 respondents were selected as the sample, which included minimum age and place of residence. The research population includes all respondents who are Generation Z and reside in Jakarta. This study uses a non-probability sampling technique with a sampling method using convenience sampling to collect respondent data through google forms. Testing in this study uses Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) data analysis techniques with SmartPLS 4 software which consists of two analyses, namely the outer model consisting of validity and reliability, and the inner model in the data analysis section. The results show that interpersonal skills and work motivation have a positive and significant influence on the work readiness of Generation Z in Jakarta. This research provides guidance for businesses and organizations to improve Generation Z's work readiness and contributes to theory development on work motivation and interpersonal communication skills in the context of Generation Z in Jakarta.

Abstract

The trend of turnover intention in the hotel industry poses a significant challenge, particularly with the high intentions of Generation Z and millennials to leave their jobs, as revealed in the surveys conducted by Achievers Workforce Institute 2023 and Indonesia Millennial Report 2019. Data from Michael Page International Indonesia 2022 highlights a significant wave of resignations, especially in the leisure, travel & tourism sectors. XYZ Hotel with a workforce of a hundred employees, is experiencing the impact of job turnover trends. This study aims to examine the influence of organizational justice and work-life balance on turnover intention, with employee engagement as a mediating factor, among employees at Hotel XYZ. The population of this study includes all employees working at XYZ Hotel. A total of 100 samples were obtained using the total sampling method. The collected data were processed using SmartPLS 3. The results of this study indicate that the variables of organizational justice and employee engagement have a negative and significant influence on turnover intention. Meanwhile, work-life balance has a positive and significant influence on turnover intention in XYZ Hotel and must be mediated by employee engagement to achieve a negative effect.
