Abstract

Objective: Research Objective to know the factors affecting the Sexual Comfort on IUD KB Acceptors in Rs.Bayayangkara Makassar. Method: Research Method: This research is a cross sectional study. The sample of research with the number of 40 respondents by way of sampling random sampling. Data analysis using chi square test for 95% significance level. Discussion: IUD (Intra Uterine Device) is a widely used contraceptive tool in family planning program in Indonesia. Less than 4.5 million KB acceptor use IUD. However, the use of IUD contraceptives is not a perfect tool, so there are still some disadvantages including: spotting bleeding, menometrorargia, vaginal or flour albus, dysmenorrhea infection and sexual comfort. Result: Research Result: The result of statistical test by using chi square of all the factors that influence the known value of P smaller than a, it can be concluded that the Ho intervention group is rejected and Ha accepted. Conclusion: There is correlation between the factors influencing the Sexual Convenience on KB IUD Acceptors Dirs.Bhayangkara Makassar

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education with audio-visual media on community actions in providing first aid to stroke patients. Methods: This research design uses a one group pretest-post test design. The population in this study were all patients aged 17-35 years at the Siwaliman Health Center, Aru Islands District, Aru Islands Regency, amounting to 300 people. The sampling technique of this research is consecutive sampling so that the research sample is 45 people. The research instrument used the Extension Program Unit, and a questionnaire. Data analysis using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: The results of this study indicate that most respondents had negative actions before being given health education with audiovisual media, namely 32 people (71.1%), and almost all respondents had positive actions after being given health education with audiovisual media, namely 43 people ( 95.6%). The results of the Wilcoxon test analysis obtained a p value of 0.000 less than (0.05) so that H1 was accepted, which means that there is an effect of health education with audiovisual media on first aid actions for stroke patients at the Siwaliman Health Center, Aru Islands District, Aru Islands Regency. Conclusion: The conclusion from the results of this study shows that there is an effect of health education with audio-visual media on community actions in providing first aid to stroke patients. Suggestion: The community is expected to take part in emergency training, especially first aid for stroke patients as a preventive effort to prevent disability due to delays in pre-hospital stage assistance

Abstract

According to the 2018 American Pregnancy Association (APA), colostrum is able to form a lining in the baby's stomach and intestines to prevent germs/pathogens from attacking. Helps prevent jaundice in babies by removing residual substances that are harmful to the baby's body, providing sufficient nutrients for the development and growth of the baby's brain, eyes and heart (APA, 2018). The purpose of this community service is to provide information or knowledge to the public about the importance of giving colostrum and giving exclusive breastfeeding to newborns. This Community Service activity was carried out at Posyandu Flamboyan VI using the Lecture and Question and Answer method regarding colostrum administration and exclusive breastfeeding for newborns to the target group. Counseling was attended by 25 mothers with good knowledge, namely 17 respondents (68%), sufficiently knowledgeable as many as 8 respondents (32%). Counseling about the benefits of colostrum and exclusive breastfeeding is a form of providing information to every mother who has a baby or expectant mother.

Abstract

  Postpartum hemorrhage is bleeding or blood loss of more than 500cc that occurs after the child is born either before, during or after the birth of the placenta. Several risk factors increase the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage, namely prolonged labour, more than one baby in the fetus, episiotomy (the act of opening the birth canal by providing a cut around the birth canal), large babies of more than 4000 grams, history of bleeding, anemia during pregnancy, age too late pregnancy.Purpose: Research to determine the factors associated with the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage.Research method: This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. The sample was part of post partum mothers from the medical records of Regional public hospital H.Padjonga Dg.Ngalle, totaling 40 people. The sampling technique is accidental sampling. The method of data collection in this study was secondary data by opening the register of patients who experienced post partum bleeding at the Regional public hospital H. Padjonga Dg. Ngalle, Takalar Regency. After that retrieve the data and select complete data based on the specified criteria. Data were analyzed using chi-square.
