Abstract

Latar Belakang: Hidrasi adalah kondisi dimana orang sehat yang menjaga keseimbangan air. Sekitar 46,1% remaja di indonesia mengalami dehidrasi ringan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan status gizi dan aktivitas fisik dengan status hidrasi di SMA Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 90 responden. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari univariat dan bivariat (spearman correlation test).Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 56,7% siswa berstatus gizi normal, 47,8% siswa melakukan aktivitas fisik sedang, 57,8% siswa terhidrasi. Berdasarkan analisis bivariat diketahui terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan status hidrasi pada remaja (p value= 0,026), tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara aktivitas fisik dengan status hidrasi pada remaja (p value= 0,208).Kesimpulan:Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan status hidrasi dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan status hidrasi pada remaja. Disarankan kepada semua siswa untuk memantau berat badan dan melakukan aktivitas fisik secara rutin disertai konsumsi air minum minimal 8 gelas per hari.

Abstract

Excess weight in adolescents is caused by energy intake that exceeds needs or insufficient energy consumption and is related to a history of eating habits and the frequency of intake of high-calorie foods. The diet that triggers overweight is consuming large portions of food, eating foods high in energy, high in fat, high in simple carbohydrates and low in fiber. Physical activity is a risk factor for obesity, where teenagers with light activity are more at risk of becoming obese. In 2018 basic health research, the incidence of overweight was 7.8%. Jambi City Health Service with the number of overweight cases in Jambi City, namely 174 cases. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between eating patterns and physical activity with the incidence of overweight in adolescents at SMAN 8 Jambi City. The design of this research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. This research was carried out at SMAN 8 Jambi City in February-June 2023. The population in this research was 359 students of SMAN 8 Jambi City. The sample consisted of 79 respondents. The sampling technique is proportional sampling. The data analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square statistical test. The research results showed a relationship between eating patterns and the incidence of overweight in adolescents (0.000), and the relationship between physical activity and the incidence of overweight in adolescents (0.020). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between eating patterns and physical activity with the incidence of overweight in adolescents at SMAN 8 Jambi City.

Abstract

Hypertension is when blood vessels have high blood pressure, systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg. The prevalence of hypertension globally is 22% of the total world population. Basic health research 2018 reported that the incidence of hypertension was 34.1%. The Jambi City Health Office reported the number of hypertension cases at 25,846 cases, and data from the Simpang IV Sipin Health Center in Jambi City showed the number of people with hypertension in January-March as many 652 cases. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of hypertension in productive age at the Simpang IV Sipin Health Center in Jambi City. The design used in this study is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted at the Simpang IV Sipin Health Center in January-June 2023. The population in this study is patients who visited the Simpang IV Sipin Health Center, with a total of 96 people in January-March 2023. The sample amounted to 53 respondents. The sampling technique is accidental sampling. The data analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis using chi-square statistical test. The results of this study are that there is a relationship between nutritional status (0.022) with the incidence of hypertension in productive age at the Simpang IV Sipin Health Center. In this study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of hypertension at productive age, so the researchers recommend that the Simpang IV Sipin Health Center in Jambi City provide health education to hypertension sufferers with the theme "Ideal body weight as a first step in preventing and treatment of hypertension”.

Abstract

Adolescent girls are a group that is vulnerable to nutritional deficiency problems. Nutrients in the blood can be determined through hemoglobin levels. Foods that are high in vitamin C and vitamin A are fruits and vegetables. In addition to vitamins, fruits and vegetables also contain fiber, folic acid, and various minerals. Sufficient recommendations for fruit and vegetable consumption according to the Balanced Nutrition Guidelines (2014) for toddlers, pre-school age (5-6 years) and school-age children (6-12 years) are 300-400 grams per day. Based on the initial survey conducted on students of SMA Negeri 11 Jambi City, which was conducted by interview, there were 8 out of 11 students who did not understand about nutritional problems in adolescents. The target community service activities are students of SMA NEGERI 11 Jambi City. The location of this community service implementation is at SMA NEGERI 11 Jambi City. Time of activity, the implementation of community service activities will be carried out in January 2022, with the aim of community service activities is to provide or add to the education of young women SMA NEGERI 11 Jambi City about consuming fruit and vegetables and nutritional problems in adolescents. When the pre-test and post-test were carried out regarding the knowledge of young women at SMA Negri 11 Jambi City before counseling was carried out about anemia, most of them had less knowledge as many as 19 people, 5 people had sufficient knowledge and 6 people had good knowledge, while the level of knowledge after counseling experienced an increase, namely respondents with a good level of knowledge as many as 20 people, enough knowledge as many as 7 people and less knowledge as many as 3 people.

Abstract

Knowledge of nutrition is one of the indirect causes of malnutrition. Increasing knowledge through nutrition education can prevent malnutrition and improve a person's behavior to consume food according to their nutritional needs. Good knowledge is one of the factors that influence a person's attitude and behavior. Health promotion activities are carried out to provide knowledge about health and ultimately to prevent health problems. The purpose of community service activities is to provide or increase knowledge and understanding of students of SMP Negeri 5 Jambi City regarding guidelines for balanced nutrition and the implementation of the contents of my eat plate. Counseling is an effort to change human behavior through an educative approach. Based on the results of an initial survey conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Jambi City in Juli 2022, it was found that students' functional nutritional literacy regarding balanced nutrition was still low. Only 19% of students who have good functional nutritional literacy. The solution offered is nutrition education about balanced nutrition guidelines that can increase students' knowledge and implementation of "the contents of my dinner plate" to address nutritional problems in SMP Negeri 5 Jambi City students.. The implementation of this education was carried out in a friendly manner using leaflet media and power points. Before and after the education, an evaluation of the participants' knowledge and attitudes regarding balanced nutrition guidelines was carried out through a pretest and posttest using a questionnaire. experienced an increase, where the results of the pre-test knowledge were less than 15 students and the results of the post-test were 3 students, while the pre-test results of good knowledge were 7 students and the results of the post-test were 20 students.

Abstract

Pedada fruit (Sonneratia caseolaris) is one of the mangrove varieties that has a high nutritional content and has the potential as an antioxidant. In general, pedada is still underutilized by the community because it tastes sour and feels tight when consumed directly. One of the efforts in utilizing the pedada fruit is processing it into jelly candy. The purpose of this study was to determine the chemical characteristics of pedada jelly candy with the addition of carrageenan. This research is an experimental design using a quantitative descriptive approach with P2K2(100 ml  of pedada fruit juice and 20 gr carrageenan) and P0K2 contol samples (without pedada fruit juice and 20 gr of carrageenan). To find out the chemical characteristics were tested Carbohydrate, protein, fat, fiber, water content, ash content, vitamin C and Antioxidant activity. This research was conducted in May-August 2018. Jelly candy making was carried out at the STIKes Baiturrahim Jambi Nutrition and Food Laboratory, Chemical characteristics were tested by proximate analysis (Carbohydrate, protein, fat, fiber, water content, ash content), iodimetry (vitamin c) method and DPPH (Antioxidant activity) method. The best treatment in making Pedada jelly candy which is very preferred, namely P2K2 (100 ml pedada fruit juice and 20 gr carrageenan) with a carbohydrates (69.83%), protein (5.66%), fat (9.89%), water content (39.26%), ash content (9.67%), fiber (0.67%), vitamin C (14.08%) and antioxidant activity (67.34%).

Abstract

Adolescents are individuals both women and men who are between students and adults. The limit for adolescents in this case is the age of 10-19 years according to the classification of the World Health Organization (WHO). The nutritional needs for adolescents are very large because they are still growing. Adolescents need energy/calories, protein, calcium, iron, zinc and vitamins to fulfill physical activities such as school activities and daily activities. Nutritional problems are generally caused by economic problems, lack of food, poor environmental quality. Based on the initial survey conducted on students of SMA Negeri 11 Jambi City, which was conducted by interview, there were 8 out of 11 students who did not understand the nutritional status of adolescents.the number of samples in this study were 79 respondents. To find out the size of the problem with the dependent variable and related factors, where the measurement of the variable is momentary and only once.After the data was obtained from the results of filling out the questionnaire by the respondents, it was processed using computer facilities and then analyzed into two forms of analysis, namely univariate analysis and bivariate analysis.The majority of respondents with normal nutritional status, namely 25 people (41.0%) came from families with high incomes and the majority of respondents with thin nutritional status had low family income, namely 22 people (36.1%). From the bivariate analysis of the relationship between family income and nutritional status (BMI/U), a p value = 0.000 (<0.05) is obtained, which means that there is a significant relationship between family income and nutritional status based on the BMI/U index at SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi.
