Abstract

Open Journal System (OJS) is a widely used platform for managing academic journals. The purpose of this research is to discuss the process of managing OJS towards SINTA accreditation, which is a recognized accreditation system in Indonesia. This research discusses the importance of SINTA accreditation, the OJS management process, and the benefits of accreditation for academic journals. The data collection method was carried out through document review which was carried out by accessing and checking the website address of the Palembang Religious Education and Training Center's perspective journal from 2020 to 2022. The research findings show that the Perspective Journal has published 6 issues, most of the authors come from outside the management agency, most of the partners in the Perspective Journal come from outside the agency and have been indexed by Google Scholar and Scopus, the E-ISSN number of the Perspective Journal has been issued, has been indexed by DOI (Digital Object Identifier), has been indexed by the GARUDA portal and indexed by Google Scholar. It is expected that effective OJS management can contribute significantly to the journal's success in achieving SINTA accreditation.

Abstract

Changes in information technology have influenced how educational institutions, including religious-based madrasahs, respond to current demands. As institutions that combine general education with Islamic values, madrasahs must adapt to the digital transformation. The Madrasah Digitalization Program launched by the Ministry of Religious Affairs is a concrete effort to modernize learning systems and management in madrasahs. However, the success of this program highly depends on the role of madrasah principals as change leaders. This paper examines how the principal's leadership at MTsN 2 Kota Palembang contributes to the madrasah's digital transformation. Using a qualitative narrative approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the principal adopts leadership practices that promote innovation, collaboration, and the development of a digital mindset among teachers and staff. The strategies include routine training, integrating technology into daily practices, improving infrastructure, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Despite challenges such as limited funding, unequal digital competence, and resistance to change, the principal has successfully fostered a progressive and inclusive work culture. This study concludes that the success of madrasah digitalization is strongly influenced by the quality of school-level leadership in translating policy into practical action. Abstrak Perubahan dalam bidang teknologi informasi telah memengaruhi cara lembaga pendidikan, termasuk madrasah berbasis keagamaan, merespons perkembangan zaman. Sebagai lembaga yang memadukan pendidikan umum dan nilai-nilai keislaman, madrasah dituntut untuk mampu beradaptasi dengan transformasi digital. Program Digitalisasi Madrasah yang dicanangkan oleh Kementerian Agama merupakan upaya konkret untuk mendorong modernisasi sistem pembelajaran dan manajemen di madrasah. Namun, keberhasilan implementasi program ini sangat bergantung pada peran kepala madrasah sebagai pemimpin perubahan. Tulisan ini ditujukan untuk menelusuri bagaimana kepemimpinan yang dijalankan oleh kepala MTsN 2 Kota Palembang berkontribusi terhadap proses digitalisasi di madrasah.Dengan pendekatan kualitatif naratif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah menerapkan kepemimpinan yang mendorong inovasi, kolaborasi, serta pembangunan pola pikir digital di kalangan guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Strategi yang dilakukan meliputi pelatihan rutin, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam aktivitas harian, peningkatan infrastruktur, dan kerja sama dengan berbagai pihak. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan anggaran, kesenjangan kemampuan digital, dan resistensi terhadap perubahan, kepala madrasah berhasil menciptakan budaya kerja yang terbuka dan progresif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan digitalisasi madrasah sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas kepemimpinan di tingkat satuan pendidikan yang mampu menerjemahkan kebijakan ke dalam tindakan nyata.
