Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan koleksi perpustakaan di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Al-Anwar Sarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif diskriptif, teknik pengumpula melalui wawancara serta studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian bahwa perpustakaan STAI Al-Anwar Sarang telah melaksanakan pengembangan koleksi perpustakaan melalui tahap analisis pengguna, seleksi koleksi, pengadaan koleksi, penyiangan koleksi dan evaluasi koleksi. tahapan ini dilakukan dengan baik tapi ada kendala yang dihadapi oleh pustakawan yaitu tidak adanya kebijakan pengembangan koleksi dan kebijakan koleksi. adapun saran dari peneliti yaitu membuat kebijakan pengembangan koleksi dan kebijakan seleksi.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan koleksi, perpustkaan perguruan tinggi, pengembangan perpustakaan AbstractThis research aims to determine the process of developing library collections at the Al-Anwar Sarang Islamic College. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, collecting techniques through interviews and literature study. The research results show that the STAI Al-Anwar Sarang library has carried out library collection development through the stages of user analysis, collection selection, collection procurement, collection weeding and collection evaluation. This stage was carried out well but there were obstacles faced by librarians, namely the absence of a collection development policy and collection policy. The suggestions from researchers are to create a collection development policy and selection policy. Keywords: Collection development, university library, library development

Abstract

Abstract Preservation activities are the process of protecting archives against damage or repairing damaged archives. Static archive preservation activities are carried out to create archives that are sustainable both physically and in terms of information. Preservation is carried out with two activities, namely preventive preservation which is to prevent damage to archives, and curative preservation which is to repair/maintain archives. Preventive preservation activities include selecting the type of storage facility, selecting archival media, regulating temperature and humidity, camphorization and silica gel, environmental cleaning, and fumigation. Meanwhile, curative preservation activities include lamination, encapsulation, joining/patching (leaf casting), lamination with conqueror paper, Lamatex cloth, replacing damaged or worthy of replacement archive boxes and replacing paper and textual static archive wrapping. Keywords: Static archives, preventive preservation, curative preservation. Abstrak Kegiatan preservasi merupakan proses perlindungan arsip terhadap kerusakan atau perbaikan terhadap arsip yang rusak. Kegiatan preservasi arsip statis dilaksanakan untuk menciptakan arsip yang lestari baik secara fisik maupun informasinya. Preservasi dilakukan dengan dua kegiatan yaitu preservasi preventif yang bersifat pencegahan kerusakan arsip, dan preservasi kuratif bersifat perbaikan/ perawatan arsip. Kegiatan preservasi preventif meliputi pemilihan jenis sarana simpan, pemilihan media arsip, pengaturan suhu dan kelembaban, kamperisasi dan silica gell, pembersihan lingkungan, dan fumigasi. Sedangkan kegiatan preservasi kuratif diantaranya adalah laminasi, enkapsulasi, menyambung/ menambal (leaf casting), laminasi dengan kertas konqueror, lamatex cloth, penggatian boks arsip yang rusak atau layak ganti dan penggatian kertas dan pembungkus arsip statis tekstual.Kata kunci: Arsip statis, preservasi preventif, preservasi kuratif.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction. One of the four guidelines required in the dynamic archive management process is the Security Classification System and Archive Access. Its existence is needed as a guideline for managing archives in providing access services to dynamic archives. The purpose of this research is so that the public, especially the college community, can know and implement the preparation of college regulations, especially on the Classification of Security and Access to Dynamic Archives, and implement them. The Dynamic Archive Security and Access Classification System at Sebelas Maret University is regulated based on archival legislation and college archival legislation based on rector regulations. Research methods. This research uses qualitative methods with a stud library approach. Data analysis. Data is analyzed by studying books, literature, records, and various reports related to research. Results and discussion. The archiving governance of Universitas Sebelas Maret refers to government policies and regulations as well as authorized agencies such as ANRI related to archiving. The archive collection consists of textual and non-textual archives. Archives are classified into ordinary, limited, confidential and highly classified information. The classification of archives is assisted by conventional storage facilities and digital storage facilities. Conclusions and suggestions. The classification of archival access is a category of restrictions on access to archives based on the authority to use archives related to the implementation of certain tasks and functions. Archival security is a physical protection program and archival information based on its security classification. Keywords: Security System Classifications,s, Dynamic Archives.
