Abstract

ABSTRACTThe main problem is aimed at knowing communication of Sindangsari village development in increasing social participation, rural development communication is a bridge of village and community apparatuses, opinion leaders who initiate development have an important role in planning, arranging, and choosing the right media to improve community participation in carrying out social activities. descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach using observation, interview, document and literature study data collection techniques. The results of the study show that the communication development of the Sindangsari village emphasizes the importance of social aspects regardless of social status, different cultural cultures.  Conclusion of village communication Sindangsari optimizing the smartphone and the internet through social media such as what'sapp, facebook, and instagram. In addition, in increasing social participation, the community of Sindangsari village has formed a social community.Keywords : development communication, increased participation,  social community, village

Abstract

Talent event stand up comedy television in Indonesia to cause the number of people who want to learn this art by joining to communities to study to be a komika by following a variety of training one of them is public speaking training. The purpose of this research to see how process of training public speaking of the community Stand Up Indo Bogor. This research in a qualitative deskiptif by using two technique data collection the primary and secondary data. The results of the study showed the training process public speaking of the community Stand Up Indo Bogor reference of a high effective communication namely by train communicator, prepare the message, control the audience, see the quality of media the messenger, and get an as expected. The conclusion of this research is training public speaking in a community Stands Up Indo Bogor has been running well in accordance with the process of effective communication, but there are additional training materials needed to become a komika as the training techniques non-verbal (expression and gesture), adjusting references, exchanging experiences to analyze the audience, doing sound checks before performing, and making the audience laugh as feedback.Keywords: stand up comedy; public speaking; community; training.

Abstract

This research purposes to know and study the characteristic and perception of the audiences towards theinfotainment program on television and the relation between them. The research was conducted in PerumahanGaperi, Bojong Gede, since November 2008 until 26 January 2009. The research design uses correlation descriptivesurvey with questioner as a primary instrument data collection. Sampling of this research uses simple randomsampling procedure. The amount samples are 80 citizens of Perumahan Gaperi Bojong Gede. The data wereanalyzed descriptively such as the distribution of frequency and infere ntial analyze uses rank Spearman correlationanalyze and Chi-Square. The results indicate that the characteristic of the audiences, such as sex does not havecorrelation to the information value, and the attractiveness of the program format, the age does not have correlationto the information value, but there has negative correlation to the attractiveness of program format, the audiencesexposure does not have correlation to the information value and the attractiveness of the program format, there haspositive correlation between the audiences frequency watching the program to the information value, but does nothave correlation to the attractiveness of the program format, only the occupation and the past experience of theaudiences have correlation to the information value and the attractiveness of the program format. The infotainmentwas inclined to having negative attention or uneducated from some others, so it was normally if the program wasreviewed by the television producer. The attractiveness of the program format tends having not correlation to theaudiences, according to the result above it should be better if the producer of the television increases the moreinteresting to the program format, such as increasing the consistency and objectivity of the information in order tothe infotainment has a bright value for the audiences.

Abstract

Musik sebagai media komunikasi yang sering digunakan untuk menyampaikan pesan emosional dan social. Penelitian ini menganalisis lirik lagu BTS yang berjudul “00.00” (Zero O’Clock) dengan menerapkan teori semiotika Roland Barthes untuk mengindentifikasi makna denotasi, makna konotasi, dan makna mitos. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan desain deskriptif dan teknik analisis semiotika. Metode pengumpulan data mencakup wawancara dengan penggemar BTS serta analisis dokumen tertulis, foto, gambar dan video terkait. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna denotasi dari lirik mencerminkan perasaan ragu dan sedih terhadap kehidupan yang tampak lebih rumit dari orang lain, tetapi dengan afirmasi positif dan doa, diri sendiri yakin bahwa kesulitan bersifat sementara dan segera menemukan kebahagiaan. Makna konotasi menekankan pentingnya tetap berfikir positif dan menggunakan kesuksesan orang lain sebagai motivasi. Makna mitos menegaskan keyakinan bahwa Tuhan selalu ada mendengarkan doa, dan fase sulit dapat diatasi dengan semangat baru dan motivasi dari pencapaian orang lain.
