<![CDATA[Abstrak: Teknologi komputer mulai berkembang seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan manusia terhadap informasi dan pengelolaan data yang lebih akurat dengan tuntutan pekerjaan yang lebih cepat. Untuk mempertahankan eksistensinya sebagai sekolah menengah kejuruan, SMK Bhina Tunas Bhakti Juwana setiap awal tahun pelajaran baru diadakan seleksi penerimaan siswa baru. Dalam pelaksanaanya, kegiatan tersebut sering menghadapi beberapa masalah, antara lain terjadi kesalahan penulisan data calon siswa, terdapat beberapa data yang sulit dibaca, panitia masih kesulitan dalam memantau pekembangan jumlah peserta, lambatnya informasi pengumuman bagi peserta, serta lamanya proses untuk membuat laporan hasil seleksi penerimaan siswa baru kepada kepala sekolah. Dengan penerapan sistem informasi yang berbasis komputerisasi melalui jaringan komputer dan aplikasi basis data diharapkan dapat membantu penyampaian informasi penerimaan siswa baru kepada pihak yang terkait dan mempermudah pemantauan pelaksanaan penerimaan siswa baru di SMK Bhina Tunas Bhakti Juwana. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, kepustakaan, analisis, perencanaan, perancangan atau desain, pembangunan, serta implementasi sistem. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan agar memberikan kemudahan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan penerimaan siswa baru di sekolah.

ABSTRACT: Computer technology began to grow along with the increasing need for people to information and data management, more accurate with the demands of the job faster. To maintain its existence as a vocational high school, SMK Bhakti Bhina Tunas Bhakti Juwana beginning of each new school year held the selection of new admissions. In practice, these activities often face several issues, among other things, the data writing error prospective students, there are some data that is difficult to read, the committee is still difficult to monitor developments in the number of participants, the slow update announcement for the participants, as well as the duration of the process for reporting the results of selection acceptance new students to the principal. With the implementation of computerized information systems based on over a computer network and database applications is expected to assist the delivery of a new student information to the relevant parties and facilitate the monitoring of the implementation of a new student in SMK Bhakti Juwana Bhina Tunas Bhakti Juwana. The method used in this study were observation, interviews, library research, analysis, planning, design or the design, development, and implementation of the system. Of this study are expected to provide ease in the implementation of new student in the school.
