Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the effect of the palm fibre from arenga pinnata Merr on thermal conductivity of foamed concrete. The sample was made at civil Engineers Departement labolatory with specific gravity of 1.0 and 1.4 with variations of the palm fibre from arenga pinnata Merr are 0.5 %, 1.0 %, and 2.0 %. The sample was packed into (15 x 15 x 1) cm3. The measurement result showed that the thermal conductivity values are increase with the small porosity, i.e. 18 %, on the contrary, the thermal conductivity values are decrease with the large porosity, i.e. 27 %. The thermal conductivity values of concrete the palm fibre from arenga pinnata Merr addiction are 0.47 W/mºC, 0.52, W/mºC, and 0.44 W/mºC for specific gravity values 1.0 with 0.5 %, 2.0 %, and 2 %. It about 0.48 W/mºC,  0.45 W/mºC and 0.43 W/mºC for specific gravity values 1.4 with 0.5 %, 1.5 %, and 2.0 %. In conclusion, the thermal conductivity values of foamed concrete with the palm fibre arenga pinnata Merr addiction has the largest value in specifict gravity 1.0 with 2.0 % of the palm fibre arenga pinnata Merr percentage

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to analyze the factors that influence Arabica Coffee production in Huta Bagasan Village, Dolok Sanggul District, and Humbang Hasundutan Regency using multiple linear regression analysis approaches and socio-economic survey data, (2) Using an income level analysis approach and survey data, examine the level of income of Arabica coffee farmers in Huta Bagasan Village, Dolok Sanggul District, and Humbang Hasundutan Regency (3) To analyze the efficiency level of Arabica Coffe farming production in Huta Bagasan Village, Dolok Sanggul District, and the Regency of Humbang Hasundutan. This research was conducted in Huta Bagasan Village, Dolok Sanggul District, and Humbang Hasundutan Regency with a total of 34 coffee farmers who were selected using the sample random sampling method, which is processed with SPSS and determines the value of the marginal product. This study uses primary and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the production factors that have a significant effect on production yields are land area, and urea fertilizer. While NPK fertilizer, labor and herbisida do not have a significant effect. The average income of coffee farmers in Huta Bagasan Village is Rp 36.035.917 per hectare per year. For the efficiency of production factors that must be reduced, their use is land area and pestisida, because it is not efficient. while the production factors that are not efficient and need to be used more are labor, urea fertilizer, and NPK fertilizer. keyword: arabika coffee farmer, efficiency, production factor, production

Abstract

Investor mengharapkan investasi yang ditanamkan akan menghasilkan tingkat pengembalian yang maksimal dengan risiko yang seminimal mungkin. Pembentukan portofolio berangkat dari usaha diversifikasi investasi guna mengurangi risiko. Terbukti bahwa semakin banyak jenis efek yang dikumpulkan dalam keranjang portofolio, maka risiko kerugian saham yang satu dapat dinetralisir oleh keuntungan dari saham lain.Setelah dilakukan penelitian,maka bagi para investor sebelum mengambil keputusan untuk berinvestasi sebaiknya memilih terlebih dahulu saham mana yang akan dipilih, kemudian melakukan analisis terhadap saham tersebut. Agar para investor mengetahui seberapa besar keuntungan dan resiko yang akan ditanggung oleh investor pada masing-masing komposisi portofolio.

Abstract

AbstrakProgram Penerapan IPTEKS ini berjudul “Pelatihan Budi Daya Hidroponik bagi Masyarakat Meunasah Mesjid Puentuet, Kecamatan Blang Mangat.” Berdasarkan analisis situasi diperoleh beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra/masyarakat adalah: (a) masih banyak ibu rumah tangga yang belum tahu apa yang harus mereka kerjakan untuk menunjang penambahan perekonomian keluarga dan (b) kurangnya wawasan tentang teknologi, dan (c) terbatasnya wawasan untuk memanfaatkan pekarangan dan barang bekas. Pelatihan ini bertujuan membantu mitra/masyarakat. Luaran program yang akan menjadi target adalah dapat: (1) menanamkan kebiasaan memanfaatkan waktu untuk hal-hal yang bermanfaat yang dapat membantu mengurangi pengeluaran rumah tangga; (2) memanfaatkan lahan di sekitar rumah untuk bercocok tanam; (3) memberikan jasa pelatihan kepada peserta penerapan IPTEKS; (4) meningkatkan pengetahuan dan IRT di bidang Ipteks; (5) menghasilkan modul/materi untuk panduan pembudidayaan hidroponik; (6) memasarkan hasil panen baik ke pasar tradisional maupun modern. Adapun tahapan yang dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah: (a) tahap Pendekatan Persuasif/Persiapan, (b) tahap Pembinaan dan Pelatihan; para peserta dibekali dengan materi pelatihan dalam bentuk teori dan video, dan (c) tahap pelaksanaan evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil tes terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra tentang pembudidayaan dengan sistem hidroponik dapat dikategorikan meningkat jika dibandingkan hasil pretes dan postes, sedangkan keterampilan menyangkut keberhasilan pembudidayaan secara hidroponik mencapai 100%.Kata Kunci: pelatihan, budi daya, hidroponik, budi daya hidroponik
