Abstract

The terrorism financing threats is a prominent issue in South East Asia region that must be tackled by Indonesian government in mitigating the development of Islamist radical group. In order to maintain the operational and financial group, then the vast funds is very needed which obtainable by several means. Fund gathering, fund movement, and fund allocation are those activities usually conducted by the group, and this does not make terrorist would stop in varying some ways to increase their fund. The fund plays a vital role to the group’s existence due to operational cost, particularly in recruiting, hiring, and indoctrinating new members. The influx of money could be sourced from inside and outside country. When one speaks of terrorism funding, it could not be separated from the donor, movement and usage, which also covered as legal entity, banks, NGOs and individual donations. All these actors must be faced through policy and legal means which connecting with specific stakeholders, particularly those who advance in banking system. Kata Kunci: terrorism financing, security

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia (SDM) merupakan kunci sukses bagi setiap organisasi untuk bertahan dan memenangkan kompetisi dalam situasi sulit dan lingkungan yang kompetitif. Hal ini hanya bisa terjadi jika seseorang mempunyai kompetensi, komitmen, dan kontribusi bagi organisasi mereka. Pelatihan dan pengembangan merupakan strategi kunci untuk memperoleh kompetensi, komitmen, dan kontribusi. Paper ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM sebagai investasi modal manusia dalam teknologi pertahanan. Melalui studi kepustakaan, paper ini akan menjawab : apa yang dimaksud dengan investasi modal manusia dan teknologi pertahanan? bagaimana pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM menjadi strategi kunci untuk investasi? Paper ini menemukan bahwa terdapat beragam definisi modal manusia. Namun demikian, modal manusia sebagai aset tak terlihat, terdiri dari pengetahuan, skill, sikap, dan tingkah laku, adalah pemahaman bersama antar akademisi yang paling utama. Sementara, teknologi pertahanan adalah aplikasi pengetahuan dan ilmu vokasional termasuk seluruh fasilitas yang digunakan oleh organisasi untuk mempertahankan kedaulatan dan integritas negara dari berbagai ancaman. Dengan mereviu model pelatihan dan pengembangan dari Hanggraeni dan Bohlander, paper ini mengajukan pelatihan untuk memperoleh kompetensi dari teknisi dan operator dalam teknologi pertahanan. Sementara pengembangan bertujuan untuk mencapai kompetensi peneliti, perancang, dan pengembang dalam teknologi pertahanan. Kata Kunci: modal manusia, pelatihan dan pengembangan, sumber daya manusia

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dan menjelaskan radikalisasi dan deradikalisasi terorisme di Indonesia. Melalui studi kepustakaan, artikel ini berupaya mencari jawaban beberapa pertanyaan yaitu: Apa radikalisasi dan deradikalisasi terorisme?  Bagaimana proses radikalisasi dan deradikalisasi terorisme di Indonesia? Apa saja yang menjadi masalah dan tantangan radikalisasi dan deradikalisasi terorisme di Indonesia? Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa radikalisasi dan deradikalisasi terorisme adalah istilah yang tidak mememiliki definisi yang solid. Definisi istilah tersebut sangat dipengaruhi secara kuat oleh konteks dan kepentingan orang, kelompok atau organisasi yang mendefinisikannya.Radikalisasi di Indonesia bukan sebuah proses yang sederhana, tetapi merupakan proses yang panjang dan rumit melalui berbagai jalan dan metode, begitupula deradikaliasi teroris adalah proses yang sulit karena menyangkut masalah ideologi keagamaan. Namun demikian, deradikalisasi teroris tetap diperlukan karena jika ideologi mereka berubah  menjadi tidak radikal maka mereka akan secara permanen meninggalkan idelogi radikalnya. Kata kunci: radikalisasi, deradikalisasi, masalah dan tantangan, terorisme

Abstract

The radicalism that leads to terrorism is a threat to almost every country in the world, leading many countries to employ a deradicalization program to deradicalize people that have been influenced by terrorist ideology. This research purpose is to evaluate the effectiveness of deradicalization effort conducted through “terrorism client guidance program at Surakarta Correctional Facility”. Using the CIPP model of evaluation, data is collected from eighteen terrorism clients and a few structural officials as well as all related documents at Surakarta Correctional Facility. The result of this study found that: (1) Evaluation of context component is worth average, (2) Evaluation of input component is worth poor, (3) Evaluation of process component is worth good, and (4) Evaluation of product component is worth average. Overall, the effectiveness of deradicalization conducted through guidance for terrorism client program at Surakarta Correctional Facility is worth average. Although the total evaluation merit of the terrorist client’s guidance program is still in the level of average, however, the author suggests that the program should be continued by revising some areas of concern. Abstract

AbstrakThe terrorist group Mujahidin Indonesia could be a momentary phenomenon when the group has a different way to the other terror groups in Indonesia to collect fund. The group is focused through criminal acts that involving leaders of the group, together with members in the field. The action period ofthis group is relatively short compared to other terror groups, especially the absence of a strong successor that make this group easily quelled by the authorities. But the interesting part of this group is that they can be regarded as the first terror groups in the reform era that using criminal acts in carrying out its operations and recruit members. And the difference, theyare still able to recruit members who are generally Indonesian teenage even though the way is a criminal activity that clearly violate the law.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is an important issue in an organization. Job satisfaction has been talked about over and over again because of the importance it has in both individual and group behaviour, which will affect in the productivity of an organization. Even though the role of job satisfaction is important in an organization, it is sometimes unnoticed and ignored by the management which in turn results in a decrease of organizational work performance. This study aims to answer why job satisfaction is important and how to improve it in aviation industry. The method used in this research is a literature review by finding specific researches that corresponds to the topic discussed, which is job satisfaction, to integrate them into a concise conclusion. This research uses samples from published journals in the last 10 years (2011 – 2021)  found through google scholar with the main variable job satisfaction. The result of this study shows that based on the literature reviews of different journals, job satisfaction proves to strengthen employee engagement and organizational commitment, decreases the rate of employee turnover and improves employee productivity. There are a few proven ways to increase job satisfaction in aviation industry which is creating a conducive/positive work environment, applying reward and recognition management, developing the potential skills of employees and continuous evaluation and measurement of employee job satisfaction.
