Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa tentang strategi SD Islam Sunan Kalijaga dalam menanamkan bu- daya beragama bagi siswa dan pelaksanaan penanaman budaya beragama bagi siswa di SD Islam Sunan Kalijaga. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pertama, Strategi SD Islam Sunan Kalijaga dalam menanamkan budaya beragama bagi siswa yaitu: 1) Strategi menanamkan budaya beragama bagi siswa melalui pem- biasaan shalat fardhu dapat direalisasikan dengan cara mengadakan dengan kegiatan shalat berjamaah dhuha dan dzhur be- jamaah yang dilakukan di masjid sekolah, program ini diwajibkan diikuti oleh seluruh peserta didik secara bersama pada shalat dhuha dan bergantian pada shalat dzuhur sesuai jadwal yang telah ditentukan, dan penerapan metode ini sudah cukup baik walaupun baru berjalan 6 bulan. 2) Strategi menanamkan budaya beragama bagi siswa di SD Islam Sunan Kalijaga dengan pembiasaan dikarenakan pembiasaan yang dilakukan akan terus melekat dalam benak anak hingga mereka dewasa. SD Islam Sunan Kalijaga sangat menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai agama atau melaksanakan pembiasaan amal sholeh dan akhlak mulia, seperti mengajarkan tauhid kepada siswa, mengajari mereka shalat dhuha dan shalat wajib dengan mem- biasakannya berjama’ah, infaq dihari jum’at, mengajari mereka tadarus dan shodaqoh, pembiasaan Senyum, salam, sapa, santun.

Abstract

Widespread moral degradation today has sparked serious concerns, particularly as educational institutions meant to shape character often produce individuals involved in crimes ranging from theft to large-scale corruption, even among the highly educated. This phenomenon raises key questions about the failure of educational institutions to cultivate moral intellectuals and challenges the very definition of akhlak (morality/ethics) when criminal cases involve high-achieving teenagers. Therefore, this background to the problem highlights an urgent need for a clear and comprehensive standard in understanding akhlak, from its components to its ultimate goals. This research positions itself to deeply examine the integration between aqidah (creed/faith) and akhlak. This question is addressed using a descriptive analytical approach to the thought of Al-Ghazali. The primary findings indicate that Al-Ghazali explicitly integrated aqidah and akhlak, especially within his concept of akhlak. This is evident from every element and underlying principle of his akhlak concept, which consistently rooted in an awareness of aqidah.

Abstract

Pendidikan multikultural tetap menjadi isu penting dewasa ini, apalagi kondisi sosial dihadapkan pada tantangan gerakan radikalisme yang semakin terbuka. Pendidikan multikultural dapat dijadikan sebagai gerakan anti radikalisme. Tulisan ini mengurai permasalahan pendidikan multikultural di Pesantren Bali Bina Insani. Secara konsep, pendidikan multikultural di Pesantren Bali Bina Insani (BBI) ditandai dengan civitas yang beragam. Terdapat guru dan pegawai Muslim dan non Muslim (Hindu). Santri-santri juga beragam. Materi pelajaran bersifat inklusif-toleran. Pendekatan dan strategi pembelajarannya variatif. Evaluasinya komprehensif. Lingkungannya plural. Pesantren BBI menghargai perbedaan dan mengedepankan persamaan. Ia memiliki wawasan, sikap dan perilaku toleransi organik. Pendidikan multikultural didesain sebagai strategi adaptasi di daerah minoritas Muslim. Melalui pendidikan multikultural, Pesantren BBI diterima dengan baik oleh masyarakat Hindu. Ia tumbuh berkembang secara kelembagaan; adanya jalinan kerjasama sosial antara masyarakat dengan Pesantren BBI; masyarakat berpartisipasi dalam mengontrol perilaku santri. Respon masyarakat juga baik, mereka hidup rukun dan saling bekerjasama secara mutual simbiosis.

Abstract

The growing prevalence of academic burnout among students has emerged as a critical challenge within contemporary educational systems, including Islamic educational institutions that often prioritize cognitive achievement and religious discipline without sufficiently addressing psychological well-being. This study aims to examine the integration of Positive Psychology and Tawakkal as a holistic pedagogical framework for mitigating academic burnout in Islamic education. Employing a qualitative library research approach, the study systematically analyzed contemporary literature on Positive Psychology, student resilience, and academic burnout alongside classical and modern Islamic scholarship concerning Tawakkal and spiritual coping mechanisms. The findings reveal that the integration of psychological resilience strategies with the spiritual principle of Tawakkal produces an “active surrender” model capable of reducing toxic productivity, emotional exhaustion, and existential anxiety among students. Positive Psychology contributes adaptive coping, optimism, and emotional regulation, while Tawakkal provides metaphysical security and spiritual meaning that transform academic struggle into a process of purposeful ikhtiar. The study concludes that Islamic Education (PAI) possesses significant potential to evolve into a transformative well-being-oriented discipline integrating faith-based values with psychological science to support emotionally resilient and spiritually grounded learners in the twenty-first century.
