Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of using E-learning in XYZ school. In education, the issue of using information and communication technologies for teaching and learning is of great importance. This study will provide a literature review and scientific background to the study by reviewing the impact of E-learning, particularly its use in teaching and learning in education. At the moment, the school is using an E-learning system called Learning Management System. This study will analyze the user’s satisfaction for the information quality, system quality, service quality, and its use, by using the PLS-SEM application. The results of this study will determine if the user’s are satisfied and if the system needs to be improved.

Abstract

Perkembangan bisnis asuransi membawa dampak positif bagi perekonomian nasional, pelaku ekonomi, dan kesejahteraan umum. Seperti halnya produk finansial lainnya, keikutsertaan asuransi juga dapat diakhiri dengan melakukan penutupan polis asuransi. Dengan kata lain, klien tersebut tidak lagi dilindungi oleh perusahaan asuransi dan tidak dapat menikmati manfaat-manfaat yang ditawarkan oleh suatu produk asuransi. Sistem penutupan polis asuransi juga masih dilakukan secara manual dan tidak efisien. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melakukan analisis dan perancangan dynamic system backend middleware untuk proses penutupan polis asuransi PT XYZ. Perancangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan metodologi software development Rapid Application Development (RAD). RAD memiliki 3 fase inti yaitu Planning, Design, dan Implementation. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, dapa disimpulkan bahwa Solusi yang diberikan untuk perusahaan dengan sumber daya yang disediakan dan kebutuhan obyektif perusahaan adalah membangun sebuah sistem yang memiliki tujuan sebagai jembatan antara partner system dengan core system untuk mempercepat transaksi dari sistem eksternal ke sistem internal dan membuat transaksi menjadi lebih tepat dan cepat. Sistem yang dibangun diberi nama Dynamic System Middleware Backend atau sudah mulai biasa disebut MAPS (Mega API System). Kata Kunci: Asuransi, Backend Middleware, Integrasi Data

Abstract

As one of the pioneers of the STIE Pertiba Pangkalpinang management study program, it strives to continuously improve its competitiveness and strategic advantage compared to other similar high schools, STIE Pertiba Pangkalpinang must have a Strategic Planning of Information Systems and Information Technology that is in line with the organization's vision and mission. The purpose of this research is to develop the IS/IT needs of STIE Pertiba Pangkalpinang to support public services, academics, students, lecturers and staff at STIE Pertiba Pangkalpinang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research using the Ward and Peppard framework with several analytical tools to analyze the external environment with PEST and Porter Five Forces, the Internal Business Environment with SWOT, CSF and Value Chain, External IS/IT Environmental Analysis with IS Technology Trends. Latest IT and Internal IS/IT Environmental Analysis with McFarlan Grids Analysis. The results show that the Ward and Peppard Frameworks can see various perspectives of the company in terms of internal and external strengths and weaknesses on the business side or IS/IT, so they can identify future IS/IT portfolio needs required by the company through the IS/IT business strategy process. IT, IS/IT management and IT strategy. And produced 3 (three) strategies, namely IS business strategy, IS/IT Management Strategy and IT strategy to help STIE Pertiba Pangkalpinang increase its competitive advantage.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology can make it easier for anyone to obtain, process, and disseminate various information systems. Information system security is an important aspect in maintaining information confidentiality. One way to maintain the security of information systems is by conducting risk management. The goal of risk management is to control and lessen the likelihood of risks that could jeopardize information system security. This research aims to carry out a risk management process in one of the government agencies in Indonesia by controlling mitigation that refers to ISO / IEC 27001: 2022. Data collection in this study was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and Forum Group Discussion (FGD). The results of this study were the discovery of 15 risks, 50 risk threats, and 15 impacts caused by the risk. This research resulted in 42% of the risks falling into a moderate impact.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for the guarantee company to improve the management of the availability of information technology services to all company stakeholders in the guarantee company data centre migration project. The guarantee company is currently collaborating with data centre colocation service providers to support information technology infrastructure needs as a location for placing hyper-converged infrastructure servers. One of the objectives of this study is to provide recommendations to company management regarding improvements related to operational efficiency, increased scalability and capacity, reliability, increased availability, increased security factors, compliance with regulations, and the ability to increase data recovery in the event of a disaster by evaluating and maintained for enterprise data centre migration plans. This research focuses on how the benefits of data centre migration are currently at the highest level, which will be explained in this paper, where the author will provide a systematic and measurable visualisation regarding facts and relationships in carrying out the stages of activity, starting with data collection, analysis, and making suggestions in improving colocation data services in the area of the country of Indonesia.
