Abstract

Seiring berjalannya waktu, kelembagaan pendidikan Islam semakin maju sesuai jaman masing-masing. Baik kelembagaan Islam di Timur Tengah maupun Indonesia terus saja melakukan pembenahan-pembenahan. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan ini akan mengupas tentang kelembagaan pendidikan Islam sebelum madrasah di Timur Tengah dan Indonesia. Teknik analisa datanya menggunakan content analisis dengan memilah-milah data yang sesuai dengan tujuan dan masalah yang diteliti. Tulisan ini menemukan beberapa hal berikut. Pertama, beberapa kelembagaan pendidikan Islam sebelum madrasah di Timur Tengah, antara lain: maktab, sekolah istana, sekolah kedai buku, shuffah, halaqah, khan, ribath, rumah sakit, took-toko buku, perpustakaan, masjid, majelis atau salon kesusatraan. Kedua, beberapa kelembagaan pendidikan Islam sebelum madrasah di Indonesia, antara lain: surau atau langgar, meunasah, dayah atau pesantren. Ketiga, kedua kelembagaan pendidikan Islam di Timur Tengah maupun Indonesia tersebut pada dasarnya memiliki tujuan yang sama, yaitu untuk memajukan Islam sesuai dengan jaman masing-masing.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Al-Quran di Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) hingga kini tampak belum dapat menggugah peserta didik untuk mempelajari dan mencintainya lebih dalam. Oleh karena itu diperlukan strategi pembelajaran Al-Quran yang tepat untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan ini akan mengungkap strategi pembelajaran Al-Quran di Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) yang harus dilakukan oleh seorang guru. Tulisan ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Al-Quran bagi guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) harus mengandung dua hal yang urgen berikut. Pertama, kemampuan seorang guru mengelola kelas yang meliputi pengelolaan tata ruang, perabot, papan tulis, meja kursi guru, meja kursi peserta didik, almari kelas, jadwal pelajaran, papan absensi, daftar piket kelas, kalender pendidikan, gambar-gambar, tempat cuci tangan dan lap tangan, serta tempat sampah. Selain itu, pengelolaan kelas hendaknya dilakukan secara preventif dan kuratif, fisik dan nonfisik. Kedua, kemampuan seorang guru dalam membudayakan pembelajaran Al-Quran harus memperhatikan tiga domain (pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap), serta metode-metode pembelajaran Al-Quran yang terus berkembang dari waktu ke waktu.

Abstract

Storytelling activities are usually carried out by a teacher to early childhood students. There are many benefits of storytelling activities for early childhood students. Therefore, storytelling activities must continue to be developed in early childhood education. This descriptive qualitative research with literature study will discuss the various benefits and objectives of storytelling for early childhood. The data analysis technique uses content analysis by sorting out data according to the objectives and benefits of the research. This study found the following points. First, storytelling is an activity to tell fictitious stories that don't really happen to instill the best values ​​from the story and take lessons from the worst values ​​from the story. Second, the purpose of storytelling for early childhood is to form good behavior and instill character values ​​in children so that they have balance and cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. Third, the benefits of storytelling for early childhood include: training concentration, sharpening memory sharpness, developing language skills, fostering interest in reading, improving critical thinking skills, and bringing closer emotional relationships between teachers and students.

Abstract

The Kyai Raden Mohammad Kasiman Child Social Welfare Institution (LKSA) Blitar City is an institution initiated by H. Masjhun Sofwan, S.H and aims to provide welfare for orphans and orphans. This case study research using data triangulation will examine ergonomic issues and psychosocial characteristics for orphaned children at the Kyai Raden Mohammad Kasiman Child Welfare Institution (LKSA) Blitar City. This research found several things as follows. First, the problems that need to be improved in ergonomics at the Kyai Raden Mohammad Kasiman Child Welfare Institution (LKSA) in Blitar City include: providing small tables for studying for orphans, providing proper name boards so they are pleasing to the eye, providing flower gardens, cool conditions in the institutional environment, providing adequate learning media for orphans during the teaching and learning process such as laptops, LCDs, and others. Second, several things that need to be considered and developed regarding the psychosocial character of orphans at the Kyai Raden Mohammad Kasiman Child Welfare Institution (LKSA) in Blitar City, include: developing focused attention on orphans from the surrounding environment, developing a focus on learning for orphans, overcoming the problem of easily crying when remembering parents who have died for orphans, motivating enthusiasm for orphans who often feel alone, have economic difficulties, feel inferior, and tend to stay away from the social environment.

Abstract

Lately, the idea of ​​implementing character building in the digital technology era has become a major concern for all education personnel. This study discusses the implementation of character-building in the digital technology era. The data analysis technique uses content analysis by sorting things that are in accordance with the focus and objectives of the study. This study found that digital technology has positive and negative impacts on the current generation so appropriate implementation is needed in instilling character. One of the most appropriate implementations of character building is the parenting pattern of parents towards children in the digital technology era, including expanding and updating knowledge about the internet and gadgets, because if parents do not have technical knowledge about this, they cannot supervise their children; if there is internet in the house, it should be placed in the family room so that they can see what their children are accessing from the internet; limit the time children spend playing the internet and gadgets; realize mutual understanding and awareness of the negative impacts of the internet and gadgets; if there is content that is inappropriate to be seen, its broadcast must be prohibited; and establish open two-way communication for children.
