<![CDATA[Abstract The church is the embodiment of the teachings of Jesus Christ which are not only to be spoken, but must be manifested in real life in society. The direction and goals of the church are shown to the believers who form a fellowship called the church. The leadership of the church is enabled by Christ Jesus to form the fellowship of the church because the fellowship of the church is God's plan. The purpose of the creation of the church on earth is to glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and to motivate each other to be active in serving God and fellow humans, so that the spirituality of the church will increase. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a literature study approach or literature study. The result of this research is that the spirituality of the Lord's congregation can grow well if the church leaders play an active role in motivating the congregation during their leadership period. The pastor of the congregation as the leader of the congregation optimally and optimally in the pastoral ministry to provide motivation to church members continuously in order to foster spiritual maturity of church members so that they are getting better. Abstrak Gereja merupakan perwujudan dari ajaran Yesus Kristus yang bukan hanya untuk diucapkan, tetapi harus diwujudkan secara nyata dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Arah dan sasaran gereja ditunjukan pada orang-orang percaya yang membentuk suatu persekutuan yang disebut dengan jemaat. Pemimpin jemaat dimampukan oleh Kristus Yesus untuk membentuk persekutuan jemaat karena persekutuan jemaat merupakan rencana Allah. Tujuan terwujudnya jemaat di bumi ialah supaya dapat memuliakan nama Tuhan Yesus Kristus dan saling memberikan motivasi untuk giat dalam melayani Tuhan dan sesama manusia, sehingga spiritualitas jemaat akan semakin meningkat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur atau studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini ialah kerohanian jemaat Tuhan dapat bertumbuh dengan baik apabila pemimpin jemaat berperan aktif dalam memberikan motivasi kepada jemaat dalam masa kepemimpinannya. Gembala sidang sebagai pemimpin jemaat secara maksimal dan optimal dalam pelayanan penggembalaan untuk memberikan motivasi kepada anggota jemaat secara terus-menerus demi menumbuhkan kedewasaan spiritualitas anggota jemaat supaya semakin baik.]]>
