Abstract

Humans are social creatures who need to develop themselves in facing life in society. To understand something, a person's way of thinking is influenced by knowledge, the ability to see, and the ability to create a strategy in thinking. One of them is in the education. Based on observations, it is shown that the learning carried out by the teacher when teaching is less varied so that it seems monotonous and the questions asked by the teacher are not in-depth only in the cognitive domains of C1 and C2. Lack of direct application (practice) when learning and the work made by students is less innovative. Through the zoom application, students can also do online learning. This study aims to determine the relationship between students' critical and creative thinking through the Zoom application and science learning outcomes. The type of research used in this research is quantitative correlational type. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 8 Surabaya. From the research that has been carried out, the results obtained are: (1) There is a relationship between critical thinking through the Zoom application and science learning outcomes, because the value of Sig. < 0.05 (0.008 < 0.05); (2) There is a relationship between creative thinking through the Zoom application and science learning outcomes, because the value of Sig. < 0.05 (0.006 < 0.05); (3) There is a relationship between critical and creative thinking through the Zoom application with science learning outcomes because of the value of Sig. < 0.05 (0.009 < 0.05)

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of student activeness in IPAS learning in class III-C at SD Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya. Most students still showed a lack of participation during the learning process. This study aims to describe the low student activeness in the IPAS learning process in grade III of elementary school. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The collected data were then analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that student activeness in IPAS learning remains low, as most students tend to be passive even though some have shown positive responses, thus requiring approaches that better encourage active participation.

Abstract

This review study analyzes the integration of deep learning concepts into elementary school curriculum learning. The aim of this study is to identify strategies and solutions for practical purposes in integrating deep learning concepts into the curriculum. To achieve this goal, researchers analyzed 30 literatures from 2020 to 2025. These literatures were analyzed from the perspective of curriculum, methods, learning outcomes, and potential implementation obstacles. Project-based learning methods and group collaboration are preferred and can improve students' understanding of deep learning, according to the study's findings. This study also offers various recommendations to overcome obstacles in integrating deep learning. These recommendations include teacher support (disposition) and commitment to teaching new concepts and adequate school facilities. This study also proposes the development of a more flexible (modular) curriculum and the placement of devices for children's purposes, as well as interdisciplinary collaboration. Highlights:  Project-based and collaborative learning approaches are most frequently associated with improved student understanding and engagement. Curriculum alignment with cognitive development stages is a recurring requirement across successful implementations. Ethical considerations, teacher preparedness, and resource limitations remain persistent challenges in elementary contexts.
