Abstract

At a period of this modernization of very attractive science studies which are to be studied exhaustively, especially islam. progressively expanding Study of Islam, hence more and more also allow thinker especially among intensive west to be more active in studying it. This matter of caosed that islam shall no longer comprehend only limited to congeniality historically and doktriner or limited to at things having the character of normative, formalism and symbolic. However, having come to a complex phenomenon. Islam not only number in the form of formal guide about how a individual have to mean thier life. By increasing science had by someone hence islam has come to a cultural system, civilization, political community, economics. Altogether that represents the part of its validity of growth of world. So that to study and conduct some approach in Islam a study shall no longger possible only evaluated from one aspect, but requiring of a method and approach of interdisiplinier. Study in approach of study of islam conducted by Charles J. Adams is vital importance to growth in a study of islam by using science in multi dimension and various approaches, so that it can comprehend teaching of islam which is comprehensive. And an idea of Charles J. Adams has contribution in a meaning to development of science who is studying that: First, giving kontribution which is significant in presenting method and solve the problem in the study of islam among academics, especially in approach having the character of inovation to be used by all science. Both of passing idea bargained and method presented by Charles J. Adams can assist all researchers to comprehend religion, good in context of sosio-historis and also of normative-theology.

Abstract

The modernization era, the existence of traditional boarding school be questionable of many parties about the relevance to be retained. In exception of the advantages education systems of the traditional boarding school, make it is able to survive and remain necessary in the modernization era. However, there are a number of modernization challenges are faced by schools today, one of them is going to meet the demands of skilled personnel in modern life sectors. In connection with this, schools are expected to contribute the human resources needed in modern life. Therefore, schools need to make change, especially concerning the provision of education that can still survive in the future. Of course the change was to stick to the rules "al-muhâfazhatu 'ala al-Qadim al-Salihwa al-akhdzu bi al-Jadid al-ashlah" (maintaining the good things that have been there and develop new things are better). The boarding school‟s development in the future can be carried out by a traditional boarding school that are not absolute. Efforts are made by the way of advance boarding identify with both of its assets, and then develop a modern way without changing the original boarding school shape. It requires a very creative and full of wise efforts, in addition it should be began by raising awareness that the change is very decisive, useful, and important.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguraikan tentang penentuan pisuke dalam tradisi masyarakat Lombok Barat dengan mengambil sampel di Kecamatan Narmada. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan yuridis normatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Penentuan pisuke dalam tradisi pernikahan di masyarakat Lombok Barat dilakukan mulai ketika prosesi nyelabar, jumlahnya musyawarah dan negosiasi kedua belah pihak keluarga. 2) Penerapan pisuke berdampak positif yaitu: terpenuhinya rasa keadilan, terciptanya saling ridha antar keluarga dan terjaganya pernikahan. Berdampak negatif: terhambatnya proses pernikahan, renggangnya hubungan antar berkeluarga, dan rentan terhadap perceraian. 3) Pisuke dalam Tinjauan Hukum Islam, dapat dikategorikan sebagai al-urf ash-shahihah karena sudah diterima oleh masyarakat secara umum dan sudah melekat sebagai bagian dari tradisi pernikahan secara turun temurun.
